Such a beautiful property! It is just next to the beach and located in a peaceful town of Mahatao. Our room was spacious, bright and bed was really comfortable. Daryl who took care of us during our stay was friendly and helpful around the clock. The homemade ivatan longganisa for breakfast was one of the best I ever had. The villa vibe was so cozy like just a home away from home. Solid value for money. 100% recommended for anyone coming to Batanes!

If you are a fan of taxis and buses to commute you then Tugugerao is not your place, as you will be moving within the city limits in a tricycle, which is the transport system there. Also have cash on hand when moving, as all transaction is only by cash. No eftpos. Only in big malls.

Basco is the capital of Batanes province.

Basco is the capital of Batanes province. Lots of places to stay and eat, good coffee shops. Not a party town, very quiet after 1800 hrs. Life is very simple and slow here. Crime is extremely rare here.

The hotel staffs are all courteous and accommodating. Food at the restaurant are cooked deliciously, brewed coffee superb! Based on the room rate paid, it should have a small refrigerator, coffee or tea and a hot kettle inside the room. We also noticed the pushcarts being used to clean the rooms, with the used towels are left besides the elevator and it is very unsanitary.

It’s a small town about 10 miles away from Basco.

It’s a small town about 10 miles away from Basco. This is where the Honesty Gift Shop and the oldest house in the island is located. The people of all ages are very friendly, honest and for the benefit of foreigners, they speak perfect English.

Must place to visit, must include in your bucket list...

Must place to visit, must include in your bucket list especially when you visit the Callao Cave and Churches. Next time, I'll visit Sta. Ana, Cagayan, known on their white sand beach. Wanna see it for real.
