The staff went so far above and beyond doing their job. I proposed to my now fiance on the beach at the back and it couldn't have happened without the staff moving heaven and earth to make it as perfect as it was. The rooms are beautifully decorated, really stylish. The on site restaurant Una is probably the best place I have been to in the Philippines outside of Manila. It's a fantastic place. The Cafe next door is brilliant too.

Hotel is beach front and hotel breakfast is facing the ocean. The restaurant serves the best meals we found in this little beach town. People came from other hotels just to eat at their restaurant :) Our room was like something you would see in Southern California in one of the small beach towns along the coast. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was good size, and it met all expectations. The pool is also so much fun! We took 1 day off from the beach and lounged at the pool for 3 hours. Beautiful pool and only hotel I saw in the area that even has a pool. Great hotel and cannot say enough good things! Final Rating: 10 out of 10

Truly a surf area.

Truly a surf area. I love it seeing the roll of waves and the sound it produce. Relaxing place to a family to retreat as well, will great value for money. Stay at Arpo Hotel, currently the best hotel in San Juan.

The hotel is clean; the room is spacious and the amenities is good. The staffs are friendly and easy to approach. I especially like the room with the balcony because you can see the beautiful view outside. The breakfast is also good and delicious.

We had dinner at Sen Lek Thai restaurant - they had generous...

We had dinner at Sen Lek Thai restaurant - they had generous portions and delicious noodles. Go easy on the chili though - they tend to be spicy when you add so much :) We also had LU RiverFarm Seafood Restaurant - the view would probably be better during the day but the food was delicious as well.

Room had no view ,neighboring room had a door in the bathroom, very noisy .Management allows guests to occupy hallway for dining, eating Beach is no good for swimming The whole place is sketchy with all the male ex-pats in the dining/bar area

We came solely to check out the waves.

We came solely to check out the waves. My son was interested in surfing. But, the waves were small when we visited. We didn't really explore the town. We took advantage of the cooking facilities and my cousin prepared a meal there. Next visit, I would probably visit some of the local sites.

The place was really nice.

The place was really nice. The staff were we stayed in were absolutely wonderful and helpful. I would recommend for all the travellers out there to give it a try and I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed. Gregorio Homes is a private place if you want a relaxing vacation.
