Azoris Faial Garden – Resort Hotel is situated in parkland on the edge of the historical city of Horta. It features indoor and outdoor pools and stunning views over the marina and Mount Pico. The view from the balcony of our room was stunning! The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly and even helped finding restaurants and booking them. Will be back

Located in the old Azorean town of Horta, the newly-renovated Hotel Horta offers views of Pico Island. It features rooms with balconies, a large garden and an outdoor pool. Friendly and flexible staff. Very clean room and bathroom. Breakfast was good.

The boutique 4-star Hotel do Canal is situated in Horta on Faial Island. It is just 100 metres from the beach and offers panoramic views of Pico Mountain and the bay. The second of our Azorean honeymoon accommodations - Hotel do Canal is wonderful, with an ideal location, friendly and helpful staff, amazing and comfortable rooms and their preparation of our honeymoon surprise in our room was lovely and much appreciated! A must stay for anyone staying in Horta!

Set in a 16th century fortress overlooking Horta Bay and Pico island, this Pousada hotel features a swimming pool and regional restaurant. Most of the air-conditioned rooms have views of the marina. Breakfast was wonderful, with an abundance of choices offered. My knees were sore after some hikes and the staff was able to provide ice for me. We also were easily able communicate with the staff.

Featuring a shared lounge, terrace and views of sea, Hotel São Francisco is located in Horta, 1.2 km from Praia da Conceição. The accommodation provides an ATM, and luggage storage for guests. Our room was on the ground floor, with a veranda and a superb view of the yacht mole and Pico. The area is quiet and safe. The room was serviced every day and fresh towels provided. Breakfast was good - fresh fruit and juice, cornflakes, yoghourt, ham, cheese, hard boiled eggs and fresh rolls, a griller to toast your cheese and ham roll. There were tea infusions and many ways of making an excellent cup of coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful..

Good location very close to the harbor and 10-15 minutes by car to the airport. You can walk around Horta. Nice staff. Although the breakfast is not included they offer coffee for free. Big rooms with a lot of space, garden, living room and kitchen to share.

Nereida features free WiFi throughout the property and views of sea in Horta. The property is non-smoking and is located 1.4 km from Praia de Porto Pim. We appreciated the warm welcome and easy check in, with keyless building and room access. The rooms look out over the harbor, and the hotel could not be in a nicer spot. Free parking was plentiful, and there is a lot behind the hotel as well. Nereida is perfect for self catering. You have a kitchenette in the room, plus a fully equipped kitchen in the common room. So you can cook a bigger meal in there if you want. It is also close to several good restaurants and a market. We would recommend it to anyone for sure.

Located in Horta and only 1.8 km from Praia da Conceição, Alice´s House provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Fantastic view of Pico from the balcony, clean house and room and very kind owner. It’s even possible to have your clothes washed for free which we appreciated a lot!

The property has a terrace that provides an excellent view of Mt. Pico. The best sandy beach on Faial, Almoxarife, is nearby. The apartments are well-equipped and perfectly clean. Having access to the extensive garden and outdoor grill is a huge bonus. I absolutely recommend Quinta do Torcaz and definitely hope to come back again soon.

The old pictures on the wall of Horta and Faial are a nice touch. It is in easy walking distance from Porto Pim (beach), much less convenient from the ferry.

The cleanest place I have ever been! Spacious, nicely decorated, super equipped kitchen and amazing view from the terrace. The host gave us many many tips for visiting the island and the possible hikes in the area. It might be considered slightly far from the Horta bay but there is a very good family restaurant near by and some shops for groceries, even a cheese factory (Omorro) at walking distance.

Swimming pool, pool table, and all the other equipments are great. Temperature and shape and having it for oursleves was super fun. The house is very big and has everything we needed. We felt at home. People were really nice to us. A great place to be in Faial.

Great breakfast in own pastry shop downstairs - especially loved the freshly squeezed orange juice and selection of sweet pastries. Very close to ferry terminal - 10 minute walk, in a quiet area yet close to main part of town
