United KingdomI love my tiny house, the view and the hot tub. Staff were very helpful and the property is very clean. Unfortunately, the weather was not very kind to me at the end of my stay, but at least I managed to go horse riding -see turispico which I recommend and stayed dry for one hour!

United KingdomIf I could give a million stars I would. Genuinely. Beautiful house, the loveliest hosts I’ve ever met (and I stay in holiday rentals a lot), and the most beautiful views and grounds. Our daughter got to feed the goats and chickens and helped with the cows, and Lucia and Tony made pizza and cookies with us on our last night.
I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and generosity. We had honey from the bees and delicious eggs from the hens, and fresh bread every day. Truly felt better than a home away from home - because we don’t live anywhere near as stunning a place :)
Highly and fully recommended. Our daughter and we will be talking about this stay for all our years.

Fruits in the garden, eggs from the chickrn, vegetables from the organic garden, no need to go to the local market in Horta (nice small market with only local products at the good price)
Everythings perfect even if at this season it rains a lot ;)
Kyle is too a fishi'g specialist from the shore or snorkeling he has his part time company and he is passioned so a nice plan :)

The location is great , close to the beach and nice cafes and restaurants in Porto Pim bay then 5 minutes to the marina and further restaurants in Horta. The sea at the beach is very shallow and you can walk far out. The apartment we stayed in was on ground floor with one room right on the road but it was not noisy. The air conditioning was effective. There is a coffee machine, microwave kettle hob and fridge. Comfortable beds. We were sorry we had no time to use the kayaks (free of charge and with life vests)

The pool idea with the small greenhouse is amazing, from beeing able to swim at later times when it was cold outside but very warm inside, the room for 3 persons was extremely spacious, super simple and good decoration, the bed were very confortable, and the staff was always extremely helpful, probably and by far without any doubt the best booking place I stayed, in like 6 years, really recommend it, from someone who travels around the world and is used to 5 star hotel quality of life.

Francesco and Susana were amazing hosts and really made us feel welcomed and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had access to everything. They even called us and came to pick us up at the airport when we were late because we couldn’t find a taxi!
The rooms at the quinta are spacious and clean. The breakfast is nice and varied. The garden and the grounds of the property are beautiful.

I love my tiny house, the view and the hot tub. Staff were very helpful and the property is very clean. Unfortunately, the weather was not very kind to me at the end of my stay, but at least I managed to go horse riding -see turispico which I recommend and stayed dry for one hour!

Our room was great and was cleaned well every day and the staff was super friendly. Also the breakfast (for us a freshly squeezed orange juice, a coffee, a sandwich and one of the cakes/sweets) was very good. We felt very comfortable!🙂

Nice, big and well funrished house with a great view of the ocean and Capelinos volcan. Despite road proximity it's super quiet. External space is beautiful, we always had breakfasts and dinners outside.

Horta is beautiful!
Horta is beautiful! There is a lot to do, hiking, beach, diving and whale watching, visit Capalinhos, great food. The city is very walkable. The people are friendly. We enjoyed meals at Medalhas, Canto da Doca, Peter Café Sport and Restaurant Atletico.

My stay there was great, I especially appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the host. The place is perfect if you have to catch a morning flight since it is just opposite the airport, also bus station is just across the street. However, it is not very easily accessible from Horta if you don't have your car; the public transport by bus is limited on weekends, even during the week the bus rides only few times a day, Besides one restaurant 1km away, there are also no other places to eat nearby. But the nature around is amazing and place is very nice, the rooms very comfortable and clean and breakfast is good.

Loved that the host provided some basic supplies - coffee, milk, fresh eggs, homemade jam, olive oil. The hot water was plentiful. It was great to have a washing machine. But the view is the best selling point!

The boulevard along the harbour offers beautiful views...
The boulevard along the harbour offers beautiful views towards Pico island. The town is rather small but offers all the basics. The people are are friendly. It's not so suitable for shopping and to really appreciate it you should walk around a lot and also explore the nature around the town. Public transport is available though rather limited.

We loved Varadouro.
We loved Varadouro. We stayed for 2 nights but could have stayed longer to relax by the pools and swimming inlet. These swimming areas are located amongst the volcanic rock and are just amazing.
The area is very relaxing, the sea could be heard from our accommodation. We had a hire car, which is needed as the area is remote.
There are a few restaurants and cafes nearby.

Horta is a fabulous town, friendly people, nice restaurants and pedarias and shops in and around the Main Street
Our favorite place to eat was a fab resteraunt overlooking the ocean Praia do a Almoxarife. Lovely harbor with interesting paintings from passing sailors.
Porto Pim Beach close by.
Probably best to get a hire car to see all the lovely spots around the island (quite expensive) although the local buses are pretty good too. Plenty of walking/hiking trails especially the walk around the rim of Caldeira e Capelinhos. Lots of amazing view points and botanical gardens
