The location directly in the old fortress is really amazing. You're above the city, in peace and quiet, and still 5 min walking to the center. The evenings at the fortress were magical... :) Otherwise, the hotel has a good standard - spacious rooms, reasonable beds and good sound isolation. It is not super lux but correct and comfy. Restaurant is really pleasant for dining, the breakfast didn't have that much variety, but ok. Overall excellent price/quality ratio.

The looks and experience are a 5-star hotel from 30 years ago. But the low price still allows you to enjoy it to the fullest.

Absolutely fantastic stay from start to finish. Upon arrival, the concierge was incredibly helpful with our luggage and took everything to the room while we completed check-in. The hotel itself feels intimate and boutique, perfectly located in the city center restaurants are just a short walk away. That said, the fine dining restaurant downstairs is a must-try; the food was exceptional and the chef’s professionalism truly stood out. A special thank you to Beatrice, who was outstanding warm, attentive, and highly professional. We were celebrating my partner’s birthday, and the effort the staff made to create a memorable experience was beyond anything we expected. It was honestly the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommended we can’t wait to return.

The staff was very welcoming and the facilities overall exceeded my expectations, better than the photos. The breakfast is more than enough, with high quality ingredients. The location is another keypoint, since the hotel is located right in the center of the city. They also have private parking.

The staff was lovely, we felt very welcomed, they also helped us with taxis to go around the island and advised us for restaurants. The room was clean and the ocean view stunning, the breakfast was continental, various things to eat and the food was good quality. We will definitely come back for our next visit. The hotel couldn't be located in a better street in the centre of Angra do Heroismo. It's small and cozy, with character and with very friendly staff. The receptionist helped me with information on public transport to get to the hotel and she was very attentive throughout the stay. Clean room and bathroom.

Location was perfect because of the short way to the airport. No breakfest because of the check out at 5:00 am.

Breakfast was the best. Loved the bread, butter cheeses, all the terceira/goodies Staff were very simpáticos and always ready to attend us in anything we need. Thank you

We had a quick stop over for the night, arriving late and leaving early in the morning. The rooms were clean, comfortable and I look forward to coming back for a longer stay.
