Exceptionally helpful multilingual staff and great facilities.
There was a marriage, so the main restaurant was closed, but no problem. The service in the poolside restaurant was just as good and the menu was as normal. Proof that the kitchen can manage with a large event and still serve hotel guests correctly at the same time
I slept well hearing no noise from the event. All very good.

Beautiful spacious property right on the river Drina. The photos of this place really don't do justice. Our host was more then welcoming and he gave us a a lot of tips regarding the surrounding area. Also great value for money. We will definitely visit it again.

Šabac is a very clean and dynamic city on the Sava river.
Šabac is a very clean and dynamic city on the Sava river. It can offer a variety of cultural monuments and events: the theater of Šabac, Cultural center and a private little cinema are a must! It is also worth visiting the church of Saint Peter and Paul, the library, city museum, the Jevremova street - pedestrian area with little shops and cafes.
A walk along the Sava river with the fortress is very pleasant. One can also do sports in the area.

Banja Koviljača is a small spa town, with its main attraction being the beautiful spa park. Outside the park, there are limited amenities, so it’s best to explore by car or join an organized excursion. Within the spa, there are two facilities offering pools with wellness services, with prices averaging €15–20 for 3 hours, including 2–3 pools, saunas, and fitness. Accommodation options include hotels and a wide selection of private apartments, especially in the nearby residential area just a 2-minute walk from the park, featuring new apartments.
In the park, you can walk, cycle, ride a quadricycle, or take a mini train. There’s also a trail to Gučevo, which is steep and challenging. Around the area, there are several attractions: Tršić, the birthplace of Vuk Karadžić with an open-air ethnographic park; Tronoša Monastery, reachable on a 2-hour forest hike; and Skakavac Waterfall, a shorter 20-minute forest walk.
For swimming, there are beaches on the Drina River and the Sunčana Reka ethno complex, which also offers playgrounds, horse riding, quad rides, and other activities. In nearby Loznica (6 km away), there’s a city pool and hotel pools at Hotel Stobex with an aquapark. About 60 km away are the Salt Panonian Lakes in Bosnia, ideal for a full-day trip. Zvorničko Lake is also nearby, perfect for swimming or renting a SUP board.

Bogatic is a vibrant town, representative of the rich culture and traditions that Serbian food, shopping and parks offer to all tourists and visitors. All age groups are catered for with bars, restaurants, parks and family friendly events. Surrounding villages offer natural beauty and friendly communities. Specifically worth a mention is the surrounding town called Zasavica, offering a unique blend of botanical and animal life. Last but not least is the beautiful river Drina and Spa and wellness centre.

Where mali zvornik is situated just across the drina from Bosnian zvornik it is a paradise for getting passport stamps from both Bosnian and serbian ends,I got 16 in 4 days
There is an amazing underground town that i didn't know about until I noticed a brown sign reading underground town
So on day3 I decided to investigate and this place is built into a cliff,constructed in the 1930s by the backers of michailovic who was fighting against titos cities
Anyway the complex is about a km long, takes about 30 minutes for the tour, totally fascinating and only cost 300 rsd which equates to 2,20 Serbia is a wonderful country, lovely honest people ,ridiculously cheap and very good value for money
Croatia is a beautiful country that is overun by tourists and because it left the kuna to join the euro is not the bargain it was,Serbia is the complete opposite GO before it changes

If you have time take a relaxing stroll through the walking area besides river Sava, remaining of the fortress and through the city center, try cakes at the Stellina 1991 or Slatko i vitko (if you're sugar free), roast at the local restaurants...

A good choice for a short (4-5 days) holiday - easy to get around, pretty peaceful. There is a beautiful park in the centre, wellness centre, some interesting places to visit nearby (Tršić, Tronoša monastery, Sunčana reka, Gučevo...).

I wanted to get to know western Serbia, and Banja Koviljača was an excellent location for that. There is a lot of historical and cultural heritage nearby. There are several monasteries nearby, which you should explore by yourself, such as Tronoša, or the ethnic village of Tršić... do your research, you won't regret it
