This was my first visit to Hail. It was a family time out.
This was my first visit to Hail. It was a family time out. We went during the peak summer :-( but we had a great time. Best time to visit is during the winter season.
I made my own itinerary from the internet for sightseeing. I was more fascinated seeing the attractions then what I read about it. Not one but all of them was more than I expected. My recommendation for those who didn't visited or planning to visit .... Don't miss it. It will be the memories for the life time.
Many things to do, from well maintained parks for kids, hangout. Al-Salaam park to name one. The recent historic monuments are well preserved... Qishlah Palace, A'arif Fort.
Special recommendation to visit Al-Samra Mountain for the best place to enjoy the sunset and city lights with some tasty refreshments along with your friends and family.
But the cherry on the cake is Umm Sinman (Jubbah-Rock art mountain). The ancient art preserved at its best way. One of the UNESCO preserved site. It is almost 125 KM from the mail Hail city but should be there in the watch list.
I wish to visit again during winter time.

Hail is such beautiful historic place of Saudi Arabia.
Hail is such beautiful historic place of Saudi Arabia. Must visit once to see the beautiful mountains and forts. We just stayed just 2 days, but at least should a week to explore more places in Hail.
