Breakfast varies from fruits and seeds for the healthy seeking, to delicious croissants for the gluttons like me. Slovenia is great.
Slovenia is great. Alps on the east, mediterranean sea on the west, same country, distinctively different climate on each end of the country. Beautiful nature, castles, lovely valleys with rivers and waterfalls, unspeakably beautiful historic castles etc. We stayed in Domzale only, did not go out to the city, but the location is great. Medvode is a small village at the confluence of the Sava and Sora rivers. Ljubljana is a beautiful city full of life. When visiting a few days are enough to walk around town, but Ljubljana feels particularly special because it gives of that energy that even though it's quite small, if you live there, there are always things to do and discover. Ljubljana also has beautiful antique shops, used and old book or music shops, which is a lot of fun to explore.
