Great breakfasts, a huge selection adapted to every diet and whim. Simply amazing. I should mention that I was involved in travel bussines myself for 30 years. I am not a skier any more.

Czech RepublicThe hotel absolutely exceeded our expectation and it was awesome. Very central location, just 5 minutes to the main street. Parking was for free next to the hotel. Breakfast was amazing, served all kinds of fresh food and always added more once it was finished. The spa was great as well, almost always we were there alone. Nice jacuzzi and 2 types of sauna. Room was very clean and spacious. The staff was sooo helpful and always smiled. Really appreciate it. I would definitely come only to this hotel again.

I have spent an incredibile week with my son here.
We've traveled from very far to get here, looking for a family friendly mountain quiet place and it really worth it.
It has 3 outdoor playgrounds and one indoor fully equiped playroom so the kids will never get bored here. The pool is great. The breakfast and the all day open restaurant also great. The room spacious and cosy. The people here, both the staff and the guests were very friendly.
And Zuberec an beautiful little mountain village with a lot of hikes to do around.

My family and my dog and I were accomodated in the small cottage. We spent the weekend here, but I can imagine even more. There were so many opoortunities what to do - sports, wellness, restaurant, trips on beautiful places around. Also there were flowers and trees everywhere. We enjoyed it on 100%, I would recommend to anyone and I think we will definitely come back.

Lovely hotel in block house style. Clean spacious rooms, comfortable beds, an excellent restaurant and an unusually friendly staff. Parking was included too. There are several fairy tale houses for families.

Zuberec is a calm town in the Žilina Region.
Zuberec is a calm town in the Žilina Region. It has everything you need, including shops, an ice cream kiosk, the lovely Zuberecká štrúdla bakery, and the refreshing Studený potok stream, perfect for cooling off on a hot day.
The town is conveniently located close to several starting points for hikes in the Western Tatras, with easy access to trailheads and parking areas.

The main attraction is the Orava Castle.
The main attraction is the Orava Castle. Majestic castle carved into the rock that forms the central part of the town is a stunning sight. The neighbourhood is so green and beautiful with some good hiking options. Neighborhood is so peaceful, green and romantic, even though the Dracula castle looms over the city :-P.
Food: Beware of the fact that every restaurant closes by 8pm. Its a small town with not many options to dine. The nice restaurant at the town centre serves great Gaulas and Slovakian traditional dishes.
They stay open for the longest period. Try to carry some cash in hand as some places insisted on cash payment.
Getting around: Buses are there and trains too to nearby locations of natural beauty.

The hotel location in righ in the middle of the nature with noticeable fresh air of higher altitudes and forest.
Great for the break from city life. Good addition is a pool and jacuzzi. Nice breakfast, good dinners. Friendly staff.
Good driving distance to see the Oravsky hrad and Oravska priehrada.
We really enjoyed our stay.

- We come to Zuberec every year during the Folklore festival...
- We come to Zuberec every year during the Folklore festival on the first weekend of August. It is a lovely combination of culture and hiking.
- There is a lot to do in every season - hiking, biking or skiing just to name a few.
- You can also visit the museum of Orava village and cave Brestova.
All in all it is a perfect location to recharge your batteries.

Orava Castle is well maintained and staffed and well worth visiting for a day. The town is also very nice to walk around. Many nice restsurants. One day is enough, unless you want to vacation in a quiet mountain town with few activities.

It's a very well organized and managed, clean place. Sure- it is not five stars but I doubt I could have wished for more. Well located, convenient, with helpful staff. Breakfast (included in my case) was fresh and very tasty. When you are there- ABSOLUTELY try their halushki, they are phenomenal (and they also cry of freshness, which is not always the case). Close to castle and to raft stop- which is also nice
