This place offer special experience different from the standard. Nature is all around you, food is fresh and delicious, staff is warm and fun. As a single traveler i had always someone to talk to in the beautiful roundhouserestaurant and the internet welan connection was very good there. The food was the best i had tasted in the whole Gambia, each meal freshly prepaired and delisciously tasty. The beach was very comfortably reached within minutes of a lovely stroll and was very romantic and relaxing. The owners put personal care into making me feel welcome and at home. I had a great time, thank you to everyone!

A very peaceful & quite location a short walk less than 400m to lovely quiet beach . Abene village is a 15 min walk via either beach or bush tracks . Our Hosts did everything to make you feel at home in the sprit of Senegalese culture in Wolof language "Teraanga" translates as " hospitality”, “consideration”. The rooms were comfortable, clean & well furnished. The gardens and the buildings are very well maintained. The meals were lovely and hospitality was exceptional at all meal times. Highly recommended for an relaxation escape holiday. A day time sleep in the hammock in the garden is a must do !! I wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.
