I realized that everything was ready and right in place. The receptionist was very friendly. I had to take an early morning flight and the whittle bus transported me to the airport at 3:00 AM!!! Great facility. I will hesitate to use it again and would recommend it to any one looking for a great hotel in Dakar and close to the airport (AIBD)

It was beautiful and one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in! Granted, I was upgraded to a larger room because of overbooking, so that comes into the equation. The only drawback was how expensive the food was, but overall it was lovely to be in such as pretty environment. And the staff were incredibly nice.

It was quiet, the main areas & room were clean. It’s quite laid-back. Hostelly atmosphere. Nice roof area to relax in. I was not there on the nights they have entertainment. Pizzas make a nice change. Someone with a flair for style has lent a hand but it’s a bit ‘faded’. Main thing is that I felt safe and it was a short walk to the beach Les Mamelles where there is also a good restaurant and some cheaper ones. Extremely helpful staff.

The Hotel du Plateau was clean, quiet and comfortable. Also, during the five days that I stayed there, there was no interruption in the wifi service, always a great plus for me. The location in the Plateau area of Dakar was also a bonus as there were a variety of restaurants available, and if you are ready for a longer walk, it is not too difficult to walk over to the ferry departure location for Goree Island. The staff was also very nice. Ask Mr. Seck if you have a question or need to arrange a taxi. He is very helpful.
