Such a cute gem in the heart of Medina. Lovely decor and very nice relaxed atmosphere. Location was excellent, next to cafes, restaurants shops, 15 minutes walk from the Marina and 5 minutes from Bus/ Louage and Taxi station. The staff was excellent, polite and friendly, in particular Nejib, he was ever so nice and helpful with advice and recommendation, I followed all his advice, cannot thank him more!

This hotel was amazing!! It’s right on the beach with cozy beach chairs, a bar and restaurant connected with good food/drinks, and a gorgeous pool. You can bring your breakfast outside to one of the bar’s patio tables to feel the breeze and watch men walk by leading horses and camels. The staff were so lovely - Fatma at reception was incredibly helpful especially considering my language barrier (I don’t speak French/Arabic), and even the cleaning staff were incredibly friendly and always said good morning to me and gave me the biggest smiles. I loved everything about this place. At first I thought I’d need to suck it up and pay for wifi in my room, since it only works in the lobby and courtyard, but I’m glad I didn’t - it was nice to be disconnected from social media for a while!

Check in was smooth and got an upgrade to a more premium room because hotel just opened. I would recommend to pay the sea view supplement as the views are gorgeous. Rooms were spacious and the design was great. We liked the food a lot although I can be a fussy eater . A lot of variety with fresh fruits, juices, delicious fish and amazing tunisian pastries. The level of service in the bar & restaurants was excellent. Entertainment was OK but they did their best and it looks like the other guests loved it. Would I go back? YES and we already booked with 3 other couples for the beginning of September

    I had a wonderful stay at Dar Bibine in Djerba and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming and affordable guest house. Here's what I loved about our experience: 1. Affordable Prices: Dar Bibine offers excellent value for money. We chose the cheapest room, which still provided direct access to the pool. 2. Delicious Breakfast: The Belgian host, Gerard, went above and beyond, serving us French toasts, eggs, homemade jams, pastries, and fresh lemonade. The variety and quality of the food were outstanding. 3. Cozy Pool: While the pool was small, it was perfect for my partner and me, often having it to ourselves. It provided a great place to relax and cool off. 4. Comfortable Beds: The comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep, allowing us to fully enjoy our days exploring Djerba. 5. Artistic Decor: Dar Bibine's decor was a feast for the eyes, with numerous art pieces and unique utensils like knives and glasses from artists adding a special touch. 6. Convenient Location: Located in the Djerba hood, the guest house is nestled in an open-air museum-like environment.     All the staff at the hotel, including those at the reception (particularly Mr. Bassam Ben Attia and Mr. Fathi from Zarzis, who were very welcoming and super friendly while being very professional), restaurant, animation team, cleaning service, pool, and beach, were outstanding ! They treated us with exceptional politeness, genuine smiles, and a high level of service. The hotel itself is beautiful, well located, safe, and impeccably clean, offering all the facilities one could need. We loved strolling around the property and participating in the various interesting animation sessions that were led by dynamic, energetic, joyful and super hard working young men. The food was truly exceptional; we relished the diverse, delicious, clean and super freshly prepared meals throughout the day. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and deeply appreciated the experience. I will definitely book a room at this hotel again and invite my friends to visit Djerba and stay here as well ! Many thanks to everyone for making this experience at the hotel truly exceptional 🙏❤️

    The graffiti art in Djerbahood is definitely worth visiting as is the nearby ancient synagogue. Hamt soukh is interesting but beware of some of the traders as they can be so pushy and hence over priced. Dont be afraid to bargain hard. There are some amazing quiet beaches that are off the beaten track that taxis will take you too and pick up and they are so inexpensive it is cheaper than getting a hire car. We had a four hour tour with a driver for only £35. We visited during Rammadan so there were limitations of bars and restaurants but not at the hotels.

    Djerba is a beautifully, calm and relaxing island with good weather and lots of activities to enjoy. Most things are absolute value for money with food options plenty. The island is pretty easy to get around although for convenience, I’d recommend hiring a car.

    Zarzis is a typical Tunisian town. Not a tourist centre. Every thing is typical of a normal town. We went out with a driver for 2 days which was amazing, we covered over 500km. When we go again we will have more time out on the road to see more of the country. We visited a local restaurant twice for breakfast and dinner. Traditional food not tourist food. We like to eat non English dishes.

    Nice friendley neighbours and nearby shops . it was great being in an apartment so I was able to cater for myself it gave me the freedom of doing what I wanted. Taxis prices were really affordable and a local bus service was available to get around the island.
