FinlandEverything was absolutely perfect — it exceeded all my expectations! The staff truly make you feel at home, and the atmosphere genuinely feels warm and welcoming. The view is breathtaking, and the location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of Sidi Bou Said, within walking distance of all the charming attractions. It’s also conveniently close to the airport and the Medina, just about 25 minutes away by Indrive, which works perfectly in Tunis and was recommended by the staff.
A huge thank you to the entire team — Woujoud, Yasmeen, Rania, Ghofran, Nora, and Najat — for their kindness and hospitality. A very special thanks to Mariem, who was exceptionally helpful, responsive, and radiated such positive energy throughout the place. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I visit Tunis!

TurkeyThe host Raouf was so one of a kind and really made me felt like home. Do not expect the place like a hotel. Sidi bou Said does not have 5 star hotels but this place is like your summer house. Decorated with classical furnitures and elegantly artistic details. The rooms are specious, clean and beautiful. It is just 3 mins walk away from the center. We also exchanged with Raouf about cultures and the history of Sidi bou Said during breakfasts. One of my favourite stays as solo traveller.

United StatesWe had a wonderful stay for 2 nights in Carthage here. The apartment is centrally located among the ruins, making it easy to walk around and visit all of the sites quickly. It was also super easy to get over to Sidi Bou Said.
The hosts are absolutely perfect- super accommodating, fantastic breakfast, and more - they even helped us extend a car rental when we were dealing with some flight issues!

AustriaWe loved everything about it. It‘s a sweet place in great location - an easy walk to restaurants and the heart of Sidi Bou Said. The host has put very personal touches to make guests feel welcome. We especially appreciated the generous offerings for breakfast the next day.
The host was also great with communication and responded to quickly. Check in and out was easy.
The place was just right for two people, and we love the outdoor seating with a he Olive tree and plants. It was very comfortable and nice. We would have loved to stay longer.

Dar el Annabi museum is my favourite place in Tunisia. Cafe des Nattes is overpriced, but still worth to visit. mint tea with almonds 15 dn but you can sit there as long you wish, and imagine 100 years ago same place.

The studio is squeaky clean, washroom too with all the amenities provided. Bed is comfortable, strong WIFI, hot water is adequate for shower, room temp is perfect for sleeping, generous breakfast and hospitality of Hakim is very much appreciated. Beyond customer satisfaction. Thank you. We really enjoyed our stay.The location is in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. Perfect for a solo traveller. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I will not hesitate to book it again if I happened to be in this country. Hakim and Carol merci beacoup.

The location of Dar Salah Bey is very good and has access to everything nearby, the house is cosy, loved the architecture and design, but the owner of the property is required to improve the facilities and kitchen equipment, like good knives for cooking, a new set of forks, spoons, and cooking tools, also provide a good iron and iron board, fix the leakage of a tap connected to the washing machine, provide new and fresh bed covers and sheets, and also provide clothes drying rack, as we struggled to dry our clothes.

I wouldn't stay there again for FREE. It is that bad place. Very small and not suitable for humans. It is a tiny place and not comfortable. Very basic toilet with un practical shower, it throws water all around the place as the of the very tiny space. The bed is not comfortable at all, not even enough for one person. The mattress is the worst quality. The linen is very low quality. They are going cheap on every single aspect. One towel for 3 nights of stay!! The host was friendly though but this wouldn't count for the uncomfortable stay.

Such a vibrant little paradise with amazing sceneries! Almost feeling like being on a Greek island. Lots of charm with its street vendors, cafes, restaurants, and Bou for dessert! worth a visit and a stay!
