This is truly one of the best places to stay, right in the heart of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The forest views are breathtaking and you feel completely immersed in nature. The staff went above and beyond and it was the best service we received on our 5 week trip. The food was delicious! There is also plenty to do in the area - gorilla trekking (a must!), nature walks, community walks, and visiting a local school in Buhoma which I highly recommend. Thank you Bwindi Neckview Lodge, we’ll definitely be back.

I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this locally-owned lodge. Richard arranged my gorilla permit without any issues and can also help with itineraries as well if self-planning as I did. Everything about the experience here was perfect - the rooms, staff and food were all great and the area is perfect for walking and enjoying the local community. I would come back here in a second and would encourage all visiting Uganda to be thoughtful about supporting locally owned lodges opposed to foreign-owned.
