Breakfast wasn’t amazing if you are vegan but the plates were real plates and the cutlery wasn’t plastic. The orange juice was great and there were lots of bananas and apples available. You can reach downtown in just 10 minutes by bus from the hotel, and it is at a walkable distance of less than 20 from the very center of the city. Besides, the hotel has a very nice swimming pool + hot tub combo that has made my day when coming back in the evening after walking + sightseeing or working. But, what I have really appreciated is the kindness of the girls at reception. They have been nice, attentive and very reachable at all times.

Boise is a surprisingly charming and sophisticated town.
Boise is a surprisingly charming and sophisticated town. We enjoyed visiting the state capitol building and botanical gardens. We liked the downtown, shopping, and different neighborhoods with good restaurants, bars, shops. Don't miss the Mixed Greens gift/housewares/fun stuff shop! Cool architecture all over. Nice people all over. Great food and outstanding service at Wylder for lunch (pizza, salads, great budino dessert); good trout at Fork (don't bother with the much-touted fried asparagus--greasy!), and even better grilled trout at Anthony's. Nice brew pubs and food courts all over. We wanted to visit the art museum, but it was closed on the only day that would have worked for us.

Everyone I talked to was exceptionally friendly.. it really put me at ease. although I was unable to attend, The hotel staff was very helpful, gathering in information on the WARHAWK museum. Any history or WW2 buff would love this place..

We very much enjoyed our trip to Meridian and surrounding area. Our granddaughter attends Boise State and we also visited with friends there. Boise/Meridian is a lovely college town with lots of good shopping and restaurants. The scenery is wonderful.

There is so much construction going on in the center of...
There is so much construction going on in the center of Eagle and roads were closed off. We managed by following detours and we have general knowledge of the roads in Eagle. Traffic is always an issue in Eagle. The infrastructure is way behind for he amount of people who live and travel through town. We ate at our favorite spots - Bardenay and Coyne's. Both have consistent menus and food is always as expected. It's sad to see the town change so much, tho. It was a sleepy small town feeling when we lived here but since coming back for visits, it's obvious that Eagle is trying to compete with Meridian by changing the landscape with newer businesses/structures and tearing down the charming buildings I remember being what gave this town personality. Not sure how many more people they can cram into the 83616.

I found all of it very accommodating.
I found all of it very accommodating. I had to get the room same day as reservations that worked out great they gave me the extended leave time in the morning. That was wonderful. I watched them. Keep the pool. Open a little later for a family that arrive late and wanted to take their children. Swimming are overall it was great experience.

I visit Boise to see my best friend who moved there.
I visit Boise to see my best friend who moved there. We do a couple of tourist things each time and also try a new restaurant or two while I’m there. We love the Boise Zoo and the unique shops that are downtown. We always try to find something we haven’t seen before and visit that.

Theres is a great and varied selection of places to eat in Meridian. We had breakfast at First Watch (a favorite for us in Tucson) and enjoyed excellent service, food and atmosphere at Kona Grill. The latter is in among a variety of restaurants and retailers centered around a very beautiful and entertaining fountain display.
All of the choices to eat at comes at a cost of dealing with explosive growth in the area. Thankfully, the city has dealt with the problem of traffic rather well by timing signals and having a relatively high speed limit.

Eagle is very close to Boise (which I love), but there are plenty of shops and restaurants in Eagle as well. Eagle is very nice in general. Hyatt Hidden Lakes Reserve is a great little nature area to take a walk, it’s really pretty with lots of songbirds and other birds.
