We stayed 11 days at Southern Cross Ranch and left genuinely happier than when we arrived. The horses were the heart of the experience: being so close to the pastures, seeing how relaxed and natural everyone is with them, and moving through a place where horses, cats, dogs, and people all share daily life was something we had never experienced like this before. We also really enjoyed the real Southern breakfast and the honest, freshly cooked, home-style American food.

This is a wonderful hotel in a stunning location right by Lake Oconee and surrounded by forest trails that provide great walks. Fantastic facilities both in the room and throughout the hotel and lots of activities on offer. Very friendly, helpful staff in all areas of the hotel and restaurants.
