The place is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. It feels like it was built recently and everything looks fresh and modern, both inside and out. The check-in process is fully automated — you receive your code the day before — and it worked smoothly for us. Just one tip: the cellular reception in the area is a bit spotty, so it’s best to have your code saved offline. But the real reason this place deserves the highest rating is not just how it looks, but how it’s run and how issues are handled. During our stay we had two problems come up, and both were solved with exceptional care and speed. On our last day, our lock suddenly stopped recognizing our code and we couldn’t get back in. I called the number from the communications email and Erica responded right away. Within minutes she texted me to say Keith was on his way — and sure enough, he arrived even earlier than promised. He quickly fixed the lock and provided us with a new code, all with a smile. Later, one of the toilets got clogged. Once again, Keith came by promptly and resolved it professionally without any hassle. Both times, we were left genuinely impressed not just by the quick response, but by the kindness and professionalism of the people helping us. It made us feel taken care of, and that’s something you don’t always get when traveling.

It was so easy to check in,they actually just sent a code for door when room was ready,no lines for checking in,if you need anything it's in the office,just go pick it up,fire pit out back stacked with wood plus the paddleboards,kayaks,and canoes, it would recommend and stay again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at VOCO Saranac Lake! For our anniversary, the hotel surprised us with upgrade to a beautiful suite with breathtaking views of the lake. Waiting in the room were champagne, chocolates, and a warm handwritten note from the staff — such a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly special. The entire team was incredibly kind, attentive, and caring throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!
