This was an ideal stopover after flying into Fresno, being just 1hr from the airport, 30 mins from Mariposa Grove and 1.5hr from Yosemite Valley. We were in a motel room and not a cabin. The room and bed were very comfortable for our one night stay.Guest review byDavalibugUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The restaurants were good but we were there on Memorial Day and found out the first day we needed reservations. Our best meals were at 1850 (reservations) and the Pizza Factory (they don't take reservations). Castillo's Mexican was pretty bad. Would not recommend.Guest review byJan - 8.0
The pools are great! The restaurant is AWFUL!
The pools are great! The restaurant is AWFUL! I'd rather eat my shoe than eat at that restaurant! The bar/grill are ok, certainly better than the restaurant, but that is speaking relatively... The store is very nice, offering a good variety of snacks and drinks. The location is very good, just a few miles away from the Yosemite entrance. The staff were friendly and responsive. The rooms were clean, and, thankfully, the AC worked well (it was 109 degrees when we were there!). The bathroom lights turned on automatically whenever someone entered the room, which we didn't like, and would have liked a way to turn that feature off.Guest review byNeckmanUnited States - 10.0

The very clean rooms, more than helpful staff and dining access on the property were the most important to my group of three. In addition, the attached balcony was perfect for an evening spent winding down from the trip. The meals we had were cooked exactly as asked and were very good as well. At the time of our visit, the pool was not yet open for the season and would have been welcome by our group.Guest review byChisum - 8.0
Small town about an hour out of Yosemite.
Small town about an hour out of Yosemite. We didn't leave our cabin except to drive up to Yosemite so we didn't really experience the town. Hadn't taken this route into Yosemite before so was delighted to find the drive from Midpines into the valley to be really beautiful.Guest review byCatherineUnited States - 10.0

Would highly recommend to anybody who loves nature and hiking, and wants to avoid having to drive into Yosemite Valley + find parking everyday. There's a few nice restaurants within Curry Village, including a bar (get the smashed burger), a pizza stall, and a dining hall-style canteen. There's also a small grocery store and outdoor gear store where you can buy anything you forgot to bring on the trip. Overall, a wonderful location that I would definitely stay in again.Guest review byAnton Rahul ObordoUnited States - 6.0
There was absolutely nothing convenient at this location.
There was absolutely nothing convenient at this location. Check in was awful. I understand security but everytime you entered you had to show ID and have your temp checked. Parking your car, even for handicap was not convenient. If you choose to not have a valet parking or bell service, it is truly bad. I will not stay Again. They don't want you to drop off luggage at the door even if you are handicapped.Guest review byDianeUnited States - 10.0
I recommend at least 2 full days to explore the park!
I recommend at least 2 full days to explore the park! Vernal Fall/Nevada Fall hike was great. Fave food spots were at Curry Village: Pizza Deck & Jennie's Ice Cream. Didn't get a chance to swim but definitely won't miss out on that during the next visit. Getting around the park was easy, lots of signs so you don't make wrong turns when driving.Guest review byMarissaUnited States - 8.0

the cabins were more than adequate for our 2 day stay. the beds were comfortable but the room got very warm in the sunny afternoons. it would be nice to have a small window fan to blow out the hot air. the bathroom and shower did not drain properly one day and had standing water on the floor and in the shower stalls. but it was cleaned up the next day.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Great value for a couples trip to Yosemite state park.
Great value for a couples trip to Yosemite state park. Enjoyable stay at the hotel comfort free parking, fridge, coffee maker and clean spacious rooms. Breakfast started at 7am and we got enough fuel for the rest of the day doing hikes and swimming in the lake. Close location to Bass lake, Mcswain lake aqua sports, tenaye, wawona falls or Yosemite park. So much to explore you definitely need to come with your car and drive around. It’s a beautiful nature and safe clean peaceful area. Romantic, adventurous trip for us a newly we couple:) We are already excited to come again to Oakhurst!Guest review byalazUnited States
