Everything great staff, a really beautiful hotel. Loved it.

The room was spacious, with a great balcony and beautiful view. Breakfast was very good, and the staff extremely kind and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet residential area, and it’s ideal to relax and work.

We loved the location in the pine forest . So quiet and peaceful . It was great to have access to the bikes which we used every day . The staff were exceptional - so professional and friendly . Loved the heated pool . Dinner was delicious .

Nice quiet location that allows you to walk into the town and through the park at the side of the river. Secure parking. Swimming pool. Very comfortable bed and a nice breakfast. Dinner in the open plan restaurant with a reception area and an open fire. Bonus of a family of Toros (national bird of Uruguay) poking around the lawn in the morning for a bit of bird watching after breakfast!

I spend two wonderful nights solo at Caliu. I really enjoyed the quality of service. Everyone working there made me feel at home. I very much enjoyed my room, pool, breakfast as well as dinner. Caliu provided me with contacts of a taxi company as well as a bike rental. I can recommend both. In case you want to rent a bicycle to get to the beach or town I’d advice you to organise it before getting there, so your bike can be delivered timely.

Great breakfast and food to order from the menu in general. Amazing pool to chill in and by. Friendly staff. None spoke any english so a few misunderstandings happened, but I know they tried their best which I appreciate. About 20 mins to go to the center, supermarket 5 mins away. As a get away it was the perfect choice!

Friendly staff, comfortable and clean room. Nice facilities, the outside and inside pools are good size and very clean. Breakfast was amazing, very tasty with a huge variety of things to choose from. The play room was a plus for us.

Beautiful place in a historical building. Very comfortable room with a perfect mix of modern a classical decoration. The staff were super helpful and kind. Complete breakfast in a very cozy area. Location was perfect for exploring the city.

I loved this hotel!! The staff, the cleanliness, the decor and the way it has many room types from single through to a large family unit all located around an atrium with plants. My very affordable single room and its ensuite were sparkling clean. There was AC and a small TV and a window with a view to plants. The caring and welcoming staff let me store my bag both before and after check out. I don’t understand why it is listed with only 2 stars: it certainly deserves more.

I loved the garden with chairs under the big tree, chill-out and the swimming pool. Alltogether, it creates a family stay feeling, in the middle of the historical area. Very good breakfast, with fresh fruits, pastries, etc. There are also toys for small kids, available to borrow.

Clean room and fairly spacious. Comfortable beds Very calm and silent which is great for light sleepers like me The staff were kind and welcoming, they agreed with an early check in that was much appreciated on a very hot day. An easy walking distance from the old town. We were totally satisfied with our stay.

Excellent location very close to the bus terminal and the ferry. Close to restaurants and bars also the coast.

Everything was as described, breakfest was fantastic and the staff were very helpful. They even allowed us to leave the bags in the hotel while we waited for the ship to leave for Buenos Aires. 10 out of 10. Would visit again
