We really enjoyed our stay at Vina Ecolife, but there are a couple of things future travelers should know. First, the hotel is located in Phu Le village, in Ben Tre Province, not Ben Tre City. Booking.com wasn’t clear about this — it’s about an hour’s drive from the city, so just be aware of the location if you’re planning your trip. That said, the village itself is peaceful and charming and fun to cycle around with the free bikes the hotel provides. We had a fantastic meal at a local restaurant nearby (Tien Oc Hoi Xua), and the setting is ideal if you’re looking to experience authentic rural life in the Mekong Delta. The real highlight was the staff — incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A special shoutout to Huan, who went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. She arranged transport, organised a brilliant tour to a Homestay on an island where we were warmly welcomed by the host family. We cut and drank fresh coconuts, cycled around the island, relaxed in hammocks with a cold beer, and enjoyed a sunset boat ride. She also took us to a nearby village to meet locals making bamboo baskets, and we shared green tea with them — a truly special experience. Breakfast at the hotel was also great, with tasty local options. The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn’t quite powerful enough for the room, so it stayed a bit too warm, and there was no fridge, which would have been handy. Overall, Vina Ecolife is a perfect spot if you’re looking to get off the beaten track and experience the local hospitality.

Wonderfully welcoming and kind family who couldn't do enough for us. Lovely sweet homestay and we did a fantastic tour with the hosts nephew Eric who is an English translator and who also kindly facilitated and accompanied us on a boat transfer to Cai Be. Given the chance we would definitely have stayed longer and would love to return in the future.

Highly recommended!!! The last three days at the hotel were really nice. The hotel staff are so friendly and take care of everything. We were able to borrow a scooter for two days, they organized a cab to the nearest bus station for us and were open to any questions. You also can have lunch and drink some fresh coconut! The price-performance ratio was great!

Got recommendations for places to visit and there was arranged tour in a coconut farm by another company in the hotel facilities. Also one could rent a motorcycle from the hotel. Location was great.

The room was spacious, hotel area well kept with lots of shade, sitting spots, plants and garden. The pool was the highlight for our kids - spacious, most of the time only for us, right on the riverbanks of Mekong. The hotel manager ( lady at the reception) was very helpful, aranged for us a short boat trip with biking and even went with us as guide. Bikes were available for us during the ehole stay. The area is not turisty at all, we havent´t seen any other foreign turist in 3 days in the village - this was a plus for us, but can be a minus for other people.

The pool surrounded by coconut trees and flowers was fantastic, and the highlight of the homestay for me. I also enjoyed sitting outside on the bamboo recliner chairs, which was very comfortable. The room was spacious, and the air con worked really well, so the mosquitto net was not needed. The food menu is very limited, with some very expensive items, but the garlic rice and tofu were reasonably priced for this kind of homestay and very tasty. There are places to eat in the closest town, but you have to be confident on the roads to get there. The homestay has free bicycles you can use. There is a very laid-back atmosphere here which is very relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and even made us noodle soup for breakfast when we asked. They take good care of the grounds and pool.

Mango Home was a lovely hotel to stay at, and the area is truly worth a visit. You can borrow bikes from the hotel and ride along beautiful roads that wind through the coconut farms nearby. If you do stay at the hotel, you should also try the local tour they offer. It was the most authentic Vietnamese experience we had on our trip, giving us a genuine glimpse into local life. The people of Ben Tre were very welcoming, and I can't count how many times people smiled and said hello when we walked by. I would definitely recommend a stay at Mango Home if you are visiting Ben Tre.

Everything was perfect! Little paradise in the coconut jungle on the river. The bungalows are simple and cleaned and provide everything you need. They serve fresh made free breakfast and there is a restaurant service for the evening. We dined here every evening during our 3 nights stay and the food was always delicious. The ladys working there are really nice and work really hard, you can see that they like what they do. The owner is friendly and ready to help and can speak a really good english. Thank you for the amazing stay!

The hotel has some charm and its position in a calm neighborhood close to the river makes it a perfect spot. The pool is very well kept and beautiful, moreover we had it totally for ourselves both days we spent here. The breakfast is correct and is taken in an adjacent space. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, giving some useful information, setting us up a rented scooter and suggesting seafood restaurants. We would definitely come back.

An absolutely beautiful and secluded accommodation. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, booking a Mekong tour and transportation back to Ho Chi Minh for us. The family was very lovely. When we arrived, we were just invited for lunch with them! They were so helpful and hospitable. The facilities are very simple yet it has everything one needs! The place is so lovely - it‘s in the middle of the jungle. They have coconuts and bananas from their own „garden“ and are happy to share them with guests🥰

Loved the small village feeling.

Loved the small village feeling. The Vietnamese people are very resourceful people who are also very generous and kind. The Mekong Delta area was so beautiful. Loved the jungle feeling and all the bounty in this area.

Our Homestay owner is very knowledgeable about his hometown...

Our Homestay owner is very knowledgeable about his hometown area. Our trip theme was to visit CACAO FARMS. We saw more! We saw cacao fruits, jack fruits, red coconuts, green coconuts, bananas, pomelos, tangerines, papayas and friendly neighborhood during our bicycle rides. Definitely recommend this place to family and friends. Will visit again.

away from the crowds of My Tho having a similar experience of the Mekong Delta, would recommend for a day, outside of the Mekong Delta Tour and riding a bike, its a bit boring place with not much more to do
