The property is located in the city center. The staff (aka the family living there) was very nice and very helpful! In my particular case I was there during Tet (Vietnamese new year) and the night of new year they invited me to their family bbq and we had an amazing time eating local food and enjoying some homemade beverages!

A big spacious room, a bit dated but okay. The staff is supersweet, they do everthing to make you enjoy the stay, even gave me to heaters to get my luggage dry after biking through the rain.

I had a really nice stay here while exploring Moc Chau.

I had a really nice stay here while exploring Moc Chau. For the price. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities I needed for a comfortable night. What really made it for me was the staff—they were incredibly kind and made me feel welcome right away. The location is also quite convenient for getting around the local spots. It’s a simple, honest place with a great local feel. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a budget-friendly and cozy spot in the area!

It's a pretty city...really easy to get about.

It's a pretty city...really easy to get about. We visited the old French prison but the museum is undergoing renovation (March 2024). Only 50% of information panels were translated into English. Great to run by the river...no dogs to bother you!

There is nothing much beauty and places which shows in the advertisement and FB pages. Even winter season too hot. We planned to visit Na Ka valley some other places to see the flowers. But no flowers on these days. If some one would like to see the flowers please check before go there flowers are there or not. Glass bridge also was closed.

In Son La there is not much to do or to see.

In Son La there is not much to do or to see. There is a night market, but it is not so special. Travellers should be careful when booking an online bus ticket from Son La to Hanoi paid in advance. The bus crew starting in Son La did not accept my online voucher for the ticket. Instead they demanded cash. So I paid twice because it was an over night bus and I had no alternatives.

We travelled from Hanoi to Ninh Binh to Phu Luang and Moc...

We travelled from Hanoi to Ninh Binh to Phu Luang and Moc Chau on our way to the Land Above the Clouds; Ta Xua. We made the Sunflower Hotel our Base while we explored the Moc Chau area for three Days. Great Hotel marked on Google Maps We hired a Motorcycle & explored Caves, Tea & Fruit Plantations, Theme Parks & Waterfalls. We found an awsome little Bakery (Google Maps)& some great food places. There is a big Dairy here and their local Yogurt with Black Rice on top...Definately enjoy while your here. There are several Themed places, we visited a couple, a Tea Plantation and the Waterfall with Glass Bridge. There are little roads suitable for cycling all around the area which is rich with horticulture & agriculture & very scenic. W&K 🇦🇺
