It is hotel - gallery, offering amazing master pieces exposition in each corner of hotel and fabulous design. It felt like every wall, every inch has a story to tell. Very friendly and outgoing employees are so proud, and truly eager to share more about the iconic hotel history. We met a man who started working there over 30 years ago - in his eyes there was still this amazing sparkle and passion as he was sharing his stories. Fabulous wellness and fitness area, at the level of the best gyms Europewide. Breakfast was delicious - great ingredients, impressive variety. Evening view from the restaurants over the extensive pool area made as feel we were in one of the most amazing resorts in the world. We have read that Landmark was the most iconic hotel in the island before booking, yet, we were swept of the feet by its elegancy, functionality, vibe and charm.

Lovely, accommodating host who really cares about her guests. The common areas and rooms were well equipped and comfortable, and the house's location was convenient for visiting the city centre (25 minute walk / 10 minute drive). Communication with the host before and during the trip was also very easy, and the fruit/coffee/tea provided in the common area was much appreciated!

The hotel and staff were perfect. I asked for a non-smoking king bed, and they upgraded me to a suite at the same price. The food and breakfast were excellent, and I could easily walk to the market to buy some clothes. It was a great stay — very clean and enjoyable.

For myself, I love Nicosia, but whether or not it is other people's Cup of tea would have to be for them to judge. It is vibrant, I always felt safe, and is a lovely size to go exploring. For anyone interested in the local vernacular construction, there is plenty to see.

This was a trip down memory lane, as we last visited 30 years ago with our children. Lots of new developments and this is beneficial for the local population. People are very friendly and helpful. First-time visitors will certainly not be disappointed with the many historic and religious attractions.

I was only there for a day, but I think it was more than...

I was only there for a day, but I think it was more than enough. Some curious things to see, if you like history there’s a couple good museums, but that was it. It’s not a city I would visit again. Something just felt off about it.

The Turkish part of Nicosia is full of beautiful sandstone houses, mosques, and a magnificent caravanserai which contains a delightful restaurant. Lively Ledra Street leads to the border crossing where you can show your passport to enter the Greek part of Nicosia. In this divided city there are many lanes that end abruptly at the border wall.

We were centrally located and within easy walking distance...

We were centrally located and within easy walking distance to all sights of interest, having previously stayed several times in Nicosia we know of several places we return too and recommend The Gym (great food & cocktails in a modern environment, decoration very unusual and onsite boutique) Henry's Restaurant ( Large menu to suit all tastes and again fabulous cocktails) we always visit the Nicosia Race Meeting if the schedule permits again don't bother with a bus trip (due to change in route doesn't now drop you near enough to the racecourse) a taxi from the Bus Station is convenient and inexpensive.

Nicosia is definitely a perfect location to visit; it's a beautiful city to explore, see, and broaden your horizons. If you have the opportunity, definitely visit both the North and South of the island. It boasts breakfast restaurants, historical sites, mosques, churches, and a rich tapestry of Genoese, Ottoman, Greek, and British cultures. It also has a university ranked among the top 500 in the world, and if you're interested in cars, there's a classic car museum.
