Really cool tree house rooms on the peninsula. The host and cook is amazing and he makes delicious meals. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is partially open air which was really cool. The hammocks and tables made it a peaceful haven. The pool was still being made when I went but it will be a really nice addition. I highly recommend this place.

Breakfast and food in general is good. And the bar area is perfect. Even some people from other hotels come there to have dinner, so even though it is a calm place it has a lively atmosphere and ocean views. That's important if you are staying few days Working WiFi in the room.

Anawasal offers lagoon front accommodation and yoga classes in Kalpitiya. Free private parking is available on site. Lovely place located in a secluded area of Kalpitiya - it's a quiet place, 100% positive vibes, and perfect place to chill. Rooms were spacious enough, beds were comfortable, and our hosts were so kind and always ready to help. Food was great, especially the Sri Lankan dinner that they prepare for the guests. It's also possible to book a yoga session or a massage, as well as a boat tour of the lagoon, and they have a kite surf school nearby if that's your thing!
