Petra and her staff are amazing people. Every day, we were looking forward to a healthy and delicious breakfast. We especially loved the ginger shots. We loved the room, the pool, ... the only regret we have is not staying one day more, like we had originally planned. We will be back for sure.

Saccharum - Resort & Spa is a luxury 5-star design hotel located on Calheta Beach, between the mountains of Madeira and the Atlantic Ocean. very nice hotel to chill. Pleasant terrace and beautiful view. The pool is not heated but in May it was a very pleasant and refreshing swim. The indoor heated pool allowed our 10month baby to also enjoy some pool time. Great breakfast with a lot of choice. Definitely lives up to the 5 stars. Would recommend
