The place is a little far from the city center.

The place is very cozy and nice, the view is amazing. Rooms are very clean. There is a very big polo yard and Polo competition that I experienced for my first time.

Pool area not that large, very close to the restaurant. Smell comes from the horse stalls in the afternoon and evening. This needs to be looked into.

Spa is amazing, room specious, we were celebrating our anniversary, so the hotel team arranged nice decoration, fruit bowl etc., pool in the villa is 100% private, heated, simply great. Breakfast is really good, you'll choose from the menu for AED 150. which is enough for fruit bowl, latte, avocado toast or eggs benedict etc. Dinner in the steak restaurant is fabulous as well. Great meat, amazing sides, delicious drinks to choose from. And a nice singer in the restaurant during the evening made the stay very memorizing as well...

We were here to celebrate 33rd Birthday of my partner and I have been in touch with Abdallah Ibrahim from the Front Of The House who made sure every single detail was looked after ! A beautiful surprise cake with a birthday message. I must say that such staff are an asset to any given property because its their passion for hospitality world that keeps them driving and I am so touched and grateful for every gesture he has done for us in making this stay the most memorable and perfect! Thanks again to Melia Team team, the whole team can’t mention enough Mohammed from Reception, Essam from reception , Priya from Restaurant (She is an amazing photographer:)) We had all our meals in their restaurant and all were exception! Everything . From the facilities to the staff I would always chose Melià desert when ever I come to Dubai . Location: I chose melià desert although it was a bit far from the conference I came to visit because I wanted peace and quiet and also I wanted a fun place for my husband and son who came with me. I thought it’ll be long trip everyday to convention center but because of its excellent location there was no traffic neither going or coming back so it really made it the perfect location. Reception : Everyone in the reception were nice and kind and were really friendly with my son and gave him the cutest drawing book that even I learned from it about polo sport which was nice. I must give special thanks to Mr Yusuf whose hospitality was superb. Epicure : ( breakfast place ) Kamila and prya were ready for us every morning to get us the most delicious breakfast and always had surprises for my son to be entertained. Spa: Amazing facilities and amazing staff had a really good facial with them , wanted to do more more services but wasn’t able to due to my conference. Housekeeping: Saved the best for last . I have a toddler so the room would get messy everyday but every time I came back to the room I would find it exceptionally clean and tidy good as new . I must give special thanks to Nymin , Tharmshi , April . They knew my son loves animales so they made an elephant with towels which my son really loved. I think this is the first time I write a detailed review but I highly recommend everyone to visit this amazing amazing place whether you are a couple or family . You will find this place exceptional and the facility has it all to serve you .

This was my 1st time to Melià desert palm and my experience was super amazing. Starting with the location and ambience, it was breathtaking and beautiful. Secondly talking about the staff and services, never have I ever experienced such a welcoming, friendly and amazing experience. Especially, I would love to thank Mr. Youssef from the Reception desk, he is a gentleman and so friendly. And then Mr. Eman, who was such a lovely and friendly person to show us around. And finally Mr. Will from the restaurant was such a sweet & funny guy. Melià made me feel at home and I would definitely wanna visit more and more whenever I can. Thank you.

The details on booking.com said that there was a hot tub. None of the villas have a hot tub.

We were upgraded on arrival from a one bedroom villa to a two bedroom. The villa was beautiful and staff excellent.

planes going above the hotel especially at night cleaning was good but not excellent food was good but not amazing living room had a very strong smell of cigarette's for a few days there was a bad smell in the air - possible drain cleaning

the swimming pool was always warm and clean and full of clear clean water food was average and room service was fast and swift staff were fantastic and always there to help an amazing apartment with large x 3 rooms and bathrooms very comfortable beds lovely grounds excellent spa service excellent reception service excellent manager excellent door men pray room and wudu service lovely views of the horses and the stables

The mattress was a tad too hard. Wish they have better and most recent movies in their entertainment channel.

The breakfast is very well presented and I like the idea that the chef include the Gulf and western set so that we can have a taste of each culture through food. The hotel grounds are breathtaking. We appreciate the staff took the time to bring us around. The hotel room is beautiful, very warm and intimate. We are so surprised to see the beautiful towel swans and flower petals on the bed. Not to mentioned, the surprise cake all laid out nicely for us. What a way to start our silver wedding anniversary ! Best of all, the friendly service adds a personal touch to our Dubai Experience. Thank you Melia for making this an unforgettable anniversary for us.

It’s not in the center of the city, but it’s due to nature of the hotel…Only two restaurants, and menus are quite limited. Terrace doors should have net for flies.

When you book Polo view terrace suit, the view of the room is amazing. Just because we live in Dubai our eyes need anyhting green. Hotel is surrounded with beatiful gardens, lots of places to walk around actual stables. The room, the bed, the shower, huge bath…all are great. Great for rest and to escape from hussle of the city..If you like horses, this is your heaven.
