We love the hidden in the woods nature feel and the tranquil, peaceful vibe we got in our room and walking around the premise. My partner, who is a nature lover, thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings, the trees and peace, and even the garden hot bath we had in our room. It was very nice. The Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were nice as well. There were even a maiko performance during dinner. Dinner and breakfast, however, are in a communal room, and not in our private room.

Nothing much - though some parts of the room clearly indicate its age and have a bit of a wear and stains around the walls. The room also seemed to have a night light in the main ceiling light that stays even when we turned off all the lights. And it's a bit ridiculous that we couldn't turn it off. We called the staff and they couldn't figure it out either. So we had to sleep with some weird luminescent light on the whole night. The light controllers were also broken.

Everything was perfect about this hotel. We had the best rest here, the rooms are quiet, new, spacious, the staff is amazing! They have free coffee in the lobby. Location is convenient, near the center and close to the big station, which is convenient going to Nara as well.

well equiped hotel, It has washing machine that i could wash my clothes in hot summer. It is quite new hotel situated in quiet local people living area. It takes less than 10 min walk to JR station. There is small supermarket nearby where you can buy food to cook.

This hotel doesnot have lift. Locking and unlocking door is quite sophisticated as well as the TV. I canot turn to see TV channel to o see local news. It should provide some instruction leaflet to teach.

Very comfortable stay, and the location is perfect with the subway right next door. There’s even a supermarket at the entrance, which is super convenient.

The rooms and furniture have seen better days … stuffed chairs are visibly worn, for example. Vintage appeal, I guess … more appealing to some than others, perhaps. Noticeable at any rate. Also, they hosted a political summit meeting between Korea and Japan, making all guests ill-at-ease, requiring airport-level security to get into the hotel on 2 days, lots of security guys everywhere with in-ear pieces, NOT what a guest needs when paying top yen or dollar … the hotel’s desire to either earn the income or stay relevant seemed a poor choice to me. It does make me think twice about our next visit …

I liked the washer and dryer inside the room. The bathtub was very deep as well.

The construction noise and the horn blowing from the port. Also the traffic noise was alot. Also with me staying for the week I would like complimentary detergent even if just a small pack. I ended up buying detergent from the combine store as the packets downstairs were too small.
