Thw einstube downstairs allowed smoking inside and was a bit unpleasant for those that don't smoke.

Would have given the hotel a 10 rating if not for the mosquitoes that were/came into the room. There were many of them & bit us & kept us awake.

It could be my personal view but I think the carpet needs to be replaced. It didn't look very clean plus is not very hygienic.

We stayed there only for one night on the way back from Lake Garda. Nice location, large room with a huge terrace (with a nice view 😉picture attached), clean bathroom. Comfy bed! Good restaurant serving delicious schnitzel. Breakfast was very good, with a very attentive waiter. Will be back if in the area.

No Air Conditioning (missed they when I booked), very uncomfortable in our current trend of heat waves. Perhaps supply a fan at the very least.

The bed and pillow was softer than I prefer although it didn't effect sleep too much. Soundproofing between rooms was not the best.

There was a friendly reception when I arrived and most staff spoke good english. The evening meal was very good, well cooked and to a high standard. The room was clean and decent sized and the bathroom was also very clean.

Prices are a bit high to eat locally (23€ for a Wiener schnitzel, and 4,5€ extra for a salad...) , but the prices in this region are a bit higher than in the rest of Germany I suppose, because of being a very touristic area. But other good and cheaper restaurants can be found in the surroundings.

the room is nothing exceptional considering the price per night. We missed a small fridge. room access only through stairs, which is ok if the room is at the first floor.

the staff is nice, responsive, and polite. The room has a nice balcony with view on the mountains. it is close to the historical city of Fussen.

It was so comfy and we felt at home here straightaway. The room was spacious and comfortable and spotless. The location is lovely, a nice village close to Fussen and all the beautiful walks and castles are close by. Parking is right out the front. The breakfast was delicious.

The beakfast was good and the restaurant was a traditional German with good beer. Excellent service. I have to add that when we booked the hotels along the Romantic road our main point was a parking close to the hotels, good breakfast, clean rooms with comfortable beds , all that at a good price.

We were sorry to find the restaurant closed. We were advised to try a restaurant nearby, but that was also closed and a rude man shouted at us to go away. We eventually found a restaurant on the other side of the lake, some distance away. Although we had requested soya or oat milk for breakfast there was none, and despite the fact that Booking.com said we had pre-paid the city tax the hotel insisted on taking it again. We felt that the hotel had fallen short of its previous standards.

A simple but good room in a lovely building. We have stayed here a number of times and always been pleased, particularly with the village.

Excellent location very near Neuschwanstein Castle, delicious dinner and breakfast - morning staff very friendly and restaurant waiter very good. My husband had the trout and potatoes and is still raving about his meal!!
