Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

GermanyThere was a dog barking at midnight (seemed that a family also paid the accommodation for their dog). I woke up at around 2 am, because I could here the bark very clearly. I would suggest to bring your own earplugs in case of something unexpected.

AustraliaMy first experience with using a keycode was not a good one as there are two terminals to use and I was inadvertantly given the wrong one so couldn't get the key. Problem was quickly resolved after I messaged the owner. Stayed two nights, but the room was only provided with one coffee satchet and one (green tea) teabag. I'm sure the owner would have happily provided another on request if they had been there at the time.
Hotel is in a quiet area within comfortable walking distance of the main railway station, trams and a supermarket. Had room 15 on the ground floor. It was functional, clean and comfortable. Outside the window is an outdoor area with a table and chairs immediately. Thankfully it wasn't used, but if it was I would imagine it could be noisy in the room.

GermanyThe walls are REALLY thin. You can hear everyone walking and talking as if they’re right next to you. Although it’s a quiet area, it’s not so quiet once someone is moving around the hotel. In addition, the room itself was super small.
It’s pretty central and in a very quiet street. The check in system was super easy.

The room was new and nice, although small. The check-in and check-out was fully automated and worked very well. The neighborhood is nice and the location was perfect for me, as it was close to the concert hall. To the city center one has to take a short trip via the metro. The metro station was also close.

GermanyParking is a challenge. The hotel is in a residental area. Returning to the hotel when everbody is coming home too, poses a challenge to finding parking. I had search for 30 min, twice and then had to walk quite a ways
The hotel is nicely decorated, the rooms are clean and have air conditioning. The owner is there in the morning and very nice. The owners do this with a passion. You can tell.

GermanyThe bedroom had an odd smell like it hadn't been aired properly for a good while, most likely from the bed frame or curtains. This mixed with a very soft mattress which is not my preference made the sleep not as good as it could've been.
Located in a quiet and nice neighbourhood - not super close to the tourist attractions but easy to access. Very practical self check-in process. I was glad I got the breakfast for the last morning, it was amazing.

Germanywe had no soap in neither of our rooms when we arrived, had to ask for it; the stairs are steep, so if you’re not very agile or not light on one’s feet I would recommend you to ask for a room in the first or second floor. the staff was not very friendly

SwitzerlandI can understand the rule during this time no contact and hotel lobby is really lovely tiny. But during my 4 night there is no rubbish bin or recycle guide note. The restaurant only offer take away which means a lot of service plate and tableware-Literally I was sleeping with trash for the last 3 days. I wish this point could be think of a improvement.
It is a special time. I booked breakfast before checked-in informed there will be no breakfast. During my stay I haven't see a single staff there. although everything have a note which you can understand. Totally self-help.no contact live in experience.
