Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Bathrooms are very small with a tiny sink. Basically every time you will wash your face the floor will be wet. Pillows are also small, more the size of a sofa cushion. The rooms are generally quite small but we've come to accept that in Copenhagen and wouldn't consider that as a negative aspect. The service is decent enough but the hotel does not make any effort to make your stay feel special in any way. We had notified them that we were getting married so they could've easily put a card into the room, a few flowers, a piece of chocolate, anything really. But none of that happened. Upon checking in the reception staff saw the note and said "Oh, congrats to you both. Let us know if you need anything."
Great central location close to train station, town hall and Tivoli gardens with good public transport links and various bars, cafés and restaurants in close proximity. Comfortable beds, blackout curtains, coffee machine, nicely designed hotel lobby, relatively quiet during the night.

There was a music venue across the road which you could hear but it didn’t go too late and the breakfast wasn’t great. Catering for four hotels it was extremely busy. The hot food wasn’t that hot and was most definitely cold by the time you got it back to your table.
Great location for the train station and walking distance of canals etc. we had a deluxe room which was good and nice firm bed but I wouldn’t have wanted to be in a standard it would be too small.

Pre arrival service wasn’t great but once we arrived all was sorted. Nothing not to like … about a 10 min walk to main areas which we were fine with. Hotel is very close to train station though.
Our rooms were lovely (superior), newly decorated and with nice touches like pillow sprays, slippers and gowns. Breakfast was great - delicious breads. Nice little bar area.

Might seem like a trivial thing to complain about, but the quality of toilet paper and tissue paper in the room was terrible. Very poor for a four star hotel.

The wardrobe was really small and there wasnt a proper place to lean our bags so we had to leave them on the floor making the room look like a mess

Bathroom was slightly small but was very clean and all worked well.

The bedroom had two single duvets on a double bed which was strange and didn’t feel right. The pillows weren’t great. I was very surprised to not have dressing gowns in our suite yet we had slippers.
The property had so much character, it was beautiful inside. The location was amazing. Staff were so helpful and friendly. I booked a penthouse suite on the 6th floor and the room was fabulous.

Renovation work going on which was inconvenient and meant cocktail bar was closed. We weren’t made aware of this before booking.

The location is excellent! The building is great! The breakfast is perfect! The staff are extremely friendly! Since I‘ve been back in Vienna, I miss the friendly lady’s laughter at breakfast! 😉
