Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Monacowe have stayed many times before Covid, since then some aspects have gone downhill, they have a shortage of staff. there is no room service. bar/ restaurant isn’t open during the day. no staff in the gym/pool area. The breakfast is the biggest disappointment. it used to be so good !! now it’s just the basics, and not very good quality. one choice of healthy cereal, no seeds/nuts/dried fruit, only 2 choices of jam , one choice of yogurt etc. can’t help feeling they are trying to cut costs by not hiring enough staff and providing a basic breakfast. we will probably give it another go, for old times sake, but if it hasn’t returned to it’s pre Covid standard, we will look for another hotel in the area, after all there is a big choice of hotels near the airport.

FrancePrice of drinks from the hotel bar are far too expensive. Hotel need to look at opening the restaurant during the daytime so guests can have lunch (sandwiches & cakes out of a machine is no good).
My daughter loved the indoor pool. ALL staff very helpful and courteous.

CanadaBathroom wall was not overly clean. Odd thing to notice, bur it wasn’t. It was not close to or easy on public transport so recommend relying on the shuttle or cab to get here if you don’t have a car.

AustraliaOur room wasn’t ready for an hour past check in time, and we’d been waiting since 12:30pm. We never complain about minor things when we travel, but were disappointed this time (and we’ve stayed here before on previous trips). The restaurant mixed our orders up, serving up incorrect food twice, over cooked meat that wasn’t edible, etc. The pool was freezing (the main reason we picked your hotel was for the kids, because you said the pool was heated) - but that was truly not an acceptable temperature to advertise as ‘heated’. The check in staff made no attempt to apologise for the delay (though we never once complained), but made us feel so unimportant by simply explaining “we are very busy today. Your room is still not ready.” With little children - we were tired, hungry and I believe, very patient with the staff. We attempted to smile and be understanding. But received not even a smile in return. I understand you’re busy, but we were kind, paying customers. We won’t be returning.

New ZealandShuttle schedules to the airport were not the most practical for our flights (no shuttle between 12pm and 5pm). This was a bit disappointing as I had booked the hotel partly for its shuttle service and ended up ordering a taxi, but overall did not impair the experience.
Really friendly and amenable staff, the hotel has everything we were looking for for a night before taking a long flight. Really appreciated the restaurant and games area for the kids. Highly recommend!
