How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

A bit far to the "not paid" beach. Like 20 minutes walking.
The personnel were super nice and helpful. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Breakfast was nice with a wide choice.

No fridge in room.
Very clean (daily cleaning service), nice swimming pool, parking (although not free), breakfast included with sufficient diversity, beach with discount for customers, friendly staff.

me and my children we like the pool,swimming pool but the room was not bad but i orderd all dawn not for the children sefty good was risk to fail from the over steer. and not wide generaly was good.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The swimming pool was small but clean and enjoyable place to chill out.We spent the memorable days in Hotel Apis.

Loved it. Great hosts , great pool, nice if them to let us stay in the pool until late. Great location. Rimini is a cool place was families .

Everything was as in description. The rooms are cosy, clean and warm. The breakfast was delicios, home made sweats, cakes, very good coffiee. The best of all is a host Giovanni, who will help you with everything, try the best to make you feel special. He is really gentile, real Calabresse 👍. We were wiyh bikes, and he organizate everything for park our bikes in a safe place, so we were calm. If you stay in Riminni, definitly choose Apis

I was first time in Italy but I'm disappointed room and bathroom size (microscopic! I kept hitting things and I'm not a big person). The same pool, which was photographed to look big, but in reality it was not. Breakfast was not bad even for a gluten-free person but coffee awful (sour, not having the smell of coffee) !!

To things that has spoiled my vacation - beds and noise. The beds are not comfortable - backpain every mornoing, no additional blankets in the room ( too hot without conditioning/ too cold with it - so blankets are must, for double sized bed they had only one). The room walls are so thin, that you can hear every word told in the neighbor room, and we were unlucky to get very very noisy neighbors. We have asked/ complained to the staff, but it hasn't helped ( no room change or anything)
The hotel is quite cosy and very clean. Location not far from the beach. Breakfast was really good.

the shower is not separated with a barrier from the bathroom, which means taking a shower makes the entire bathroom wet. anytime we wanted to shower we had to put the toilet paper and towels outside of the restroom. the breakfast wasn’t the best… but luckily there are cheap food options near the hotel. I recommend breakfast at MaMi Bistrot
the staff are really helpful and friendly which made the stay really enjoyable and the 24/7 reception service is helpful when compared to other hotels in Rimini who offer that.

Excellent hotel a short distance from the beach, with the hotel providing a discount for beach umbrella and lounger rental at one of Baglio on the private beach. Staff were friendly, the breakfast was delicious and there was lots of choice. The room was a good size with a large balcony, perfect for enjoying a drink at night. The pool was lovely to swim. Overall no faults or improvements needed, an excellent hotel for a beach holiday!

the walls in the rooms are very poor, you can hear everything, a lot of noise. breakfast is poor, every day is the same. There is no hot food at all. Bananas and fruits are available. If you like peace, this hotel is not for you.

Ugly location. Trashy place. Hotel manager chased myself and my child around demanding we pay for a parking space which we never used.

Hair dryer was not working but luckily we had one with us and nice lady at reception gave us converter to European power plug
