We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

in my two weeks travelling Italy , i found this to be the first hotel really catering to solo travelers. the room was the perfect size for me. While basic, it was comfortable and had everything I needed. The staff were very efficient and friendly. When you check in they have a QR code which you can scan and download a document with all the information you will need on train schedules and the different towns within the Cinque Terre . This was so helpful! The absolute best thing has to be the location of the hotel. Get out on the La Spezia Centrale train station, head straight ( slightly left ) to a glass enclosed structure with a lift. Take the lift/ or stairs down and exit the street below. the hotel is right opposite the street. Barely 5 minutes. So convenient! I definitely recommend this hotel and will book it again if i ever come back.

South AfricaIts not the hotels fault but its difficult to get some sleep because theres noise outside from the street all night. Limited breakfast offering so I ate elsewhere. Bathroom quite cramped.
I liked the proximity to the train station and that it was easy to find. Really close to grocery store, restaurants and a quick walk into the city centre. Reliable WiFi which was important as I was working. Helpful and friendly staff. They make a good cappucino and the room was air conditioned.

The hotel is situated directly at the center of La Spezia, and the central main station. Perfect spot to move from A to B ASAP. Cinque Terre is like 10 min by train, so what more do one person need:)

United StatesThis was perfect for us, when a train strike stranded us in La Spezia. The Hotel Mary is just across the street from the train station, the room was fresh and clean, the wifi and air conditioning worked beautifully, the staff was friendly and welcoming. There is a breakfast option (or actually two options) but we checked out before that was served. We will remember this hotel for future travel. It was a delightful surprise in what had been a stressful day until checking in here. Thank you, Hotel Mary!
