they didn't have a place in front to pause the car and drop off bags. I went about a block further to another hotel to drop my bags and we wheeled them back.

Superb location. The desk clerk was super friendly and anticipated our check-out time -he had the bill ready and had already called the taxi.

The bath tub was not accessible for my wife.

The location was perfect. The hotel was very elegant. The room (#39) was very large and beautiful. The breakfast was the best that I have seen. The bathroom was very close to perfect. It would have been better if the bathtub were replaced with a walk-in shower.

It’s a wonderful hotel and in the perfect location with a beautiful bedroom and a fabulous bathroom! Many bathrooms in Italy don’t have proper showers so we appreciated this bathroom! Lovely touches like complimentary small bottle of champagne in the room! Really lovely 💜💜💜

There was inadequate facilities for relaxing, just a small seating area near the breakfast room. It is rated as a 4 star hotel, but has Inadequate bar and food service for a 4 star hotel.

The location was excellent just close to piazza maggiore. Family run personal service. All the staff were really good, very friendly and helpful. Front desk and breakfast service was perfect. The room was cosy, comfortable and kept very clean. The bed was very comfortable with lovely linen. Amenities in the room were good with a powerful hairdryer!

Transportation to airport was not free as stated in the description on Bookings. We were charged 30E for a ride to the airport. Could hear occupants above us. Also initially hotel wanted to charge us for extra occupants (30E per night) even though I stated 2 per room. The manager/owner was nice enough to waive this extra charge but it shouldn't have been charged in the first place.

Staff was helpful especially Juneth. Location was great.

The location right off the historic square was perfect. The view was perfect for our short trip to Bologna, we were able to access all of the near by markets, shops and restaurants. The rooms were even better than the pictures online, and staff was exceptionally helpful, they were able to check us in early as well as make us dinner reservations at an amazing restaurant!

The location was perfect! We were literally steps from Piazza Maggiore. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The staff were very friendly. We were traveling with our dog, and not only are dogs permitted, but they provided a dog bed and food and water bowls, which was so nice of them to go the extra step. Would definitely stay here again if ever back in Bologna!

A public space to meet or wait in.

This hotel is very well maintained and managed! Everything worked well - heating, lighting, plumbing. The furnishings were made of real wood and upholstered in cloth. That added charm and warmth to the unique room. The hotel is in the center of town, yet very quiet at night.

location is the best (it is the center of the Bologna), room is comport, breakfast is good. It is the best choice to book this hotel for Bologna tour.

A fold-out double sofa bed in the extra room could have provided some more space for luggage.
