How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Luca is a great host. The room was very comfortable, very neat and very inviting. Close to the airport with some great seafood restaurants nearby. The pickup/drop-off service and breakfast is also an added touch. Highly recommend.

Perfect location for coming in and out of Rome airport. The property is 5 minutes from airport and Luca, the owner/manager of the property, provides the most reasonable shuttle service at 10 €. The value is incredible with a nice breakfast included. If you have time there is a lovely 15 minute walk to the port where the Tiber meets the Mediterranean. Beautiful sunset views and many fantastic restaurants to choose from. A perfect beginning or ending to an Italian vacation.

Luca was an amazing host! He arrived at the airport only minutes after contacting him for pickup. We arrived late, but arrived hungry, and Luca even dropped us off at a restaurant down the street after we dropped our luggage off at the room.

Nothing! It was exactly what we needed.
The pick up from the airport was very easy. The manager, Luca, was very obliging and helpful. He helped us with our bags. The room was modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We had an early morning flight, so the breakfast was fairly basic but I was very happy with yoghurt, a muffin and a coffee. Luca explained where the restaurants were for dinner and gave recommendations.

Nothing! Everything was awesome
Great location in relation to Airport and town of Fiumicino, which has a charming area along the Tiber River! Got a good nights rest in a comfortable bed! Luca, the host, was amazing and full of information and help during our stay. He picked us up at the Airport after our Cruise ship dropped us and delivered us back the next morning for our trip home! He even had breakfast waiting for us before we departed!

It was very clean. Luca, the proprietor, was wonderful. Very helpful and responsive from our first communication. Very close to the airport and to a lovely town with many restaurants. They provide transportation to the airport at your convenience for a small fee. Breakfast was very good. We were very happy with our last night.

Cant think of a thing we didn't like. Luca has put so much heart and thought in to his property
We stayed one night at the end of our Italy vacation before flying home the next morning. The rooms are newly remodeled and every detail has been thought of. Luca is the most kind and welcoming host! He gave restaurant and local wine recommendations and helped with all our needs along the way. He also told us about the city and its history and how to explore the area, which we really appreciated. He even brought expresso to our room when my husband inquired about coffee early in the morning. Transportation to the airport was so easy and efficient. Thanks Luca for your warm hospitality and making the end of our visit so nice!

The Hotel is very close to the airport, clean and tidy, and good breakfast, But above all I must mention the fact that Luca (The owner) did his best to help us, when we faced a flight timeline change, and we arrived in the middle of the night. In the morning, Luca drove us to the Airport, after he made us real Italian coffee..

From the time Luca picked us up from the airport to him dropping us back at 4.45am everything went well. Luca informed us of places to eat as well as info regarding buses in to Rome. Highly recommended.
