The people were so friendly and very sweet with our kids. It was very flexible; for instance we wanted to stay in the desert for one night and they made it really comfortable in terms of letting our daughter nap before, taking a shower the morning after. Also.. the coffee is amazing with herbs! Definately recommend!

Hassan is a fantastic host, a very nice man. He was so good with communication on Whatsapp and he organised transfers for a good price return to Errachidia (airport). The terrace has great views of the dunes and the breakfast is excellent, especially the omlette berber. We highly recommend this place for your stay in Merzouga 😃👍

We loved our stay at Riad Madu so much, that we decided to visit their desert camp after our original booking and stay one more night at the Riad after the camp. The hotel is beautiful, very well kept and clean, the pool is fantastic. Our rooms were gorgeous. The whole stay was relaxing and enjoyable. The best part was the service: everyone was attentive and extremely friendly. Thank you to Hassin (? - the receptionist who spoke perfect English and Spanish), Ahmed, and Hassan (at the desert camp). We are a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers.

Chez Youssef is a private riad located in the center of Merzouga, 200 meters next to the Erg Chebbi dunes. Guests can explore the nearby Erg Chebbi by jeep or camel.

The structure was very clean, well equipped and well looked after. The host is magnificent and kind hearted. He picked us up from the bus station (late at night) even if we didn't ask for it. The morning we were leaving very early he prepared the breakfast before 7 and came with us to the taxi stop helping us with our luggage (without any request). The dishes cooked by him and his wife were really good home cooked. Thank you for the hospitality Mr Youssef and family!

We chose the hotel even though it didn’t have any reviews on Booking, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise! We stayed for two nights, which I highly recommend so travelers can relax and enjoy the beauty of the place. The hotel is beautiful, full of details, very well maintained, with a garden filled with lanterns and a courtyard that invites you to unwind. The pool area is also incredible and offers direct access to the Sahara dunes! The room was very cozy, spotless, clean, and super comfortable. The hotel staff was also very attentive — even though we hadn’t booked lunch in advance, we were promptly served at the last minute with delicious food! We loved it!
