It's 3 1/2 floors, 12 rooms, large communal areas, multiple staircases on either side of the building and open roof top make it a delight to stay in and photograph. The bathrooms come with multiple towels, soap, shampoos, toilet paper and tissues. The bathroom is spacious and shower area can easily accommodate people of all sizes. The wardrobe has coat hangers, spare blankets and pillows. Cleaners come daily and refresh stocks, change towels upon request and can clean your room. There's onsite laundry service available. The breakfast lasts me the day, fruit yogurt tea coffee honey jams cheese, sweet cakes, various breads and fried eggs. The rooftop lounge looks over the medina in every direction. The owner speaks multiple languages, including excellent English, and is very helpful with restaurants and things to see and do. The whole building is very clean and well maintained, beds are comfortable and linen/ pillows smell clean. It is located in the heart of the touristy area, but down a side alley so nice and quiet. There's a few wifi dead spots but 90% of the place is fine and the wifi was good enough for me to upload 20gb to onedrive

What really stood out was the incredible service—Ahmed, monaim and Abdulhak were simply the best! They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, Anas and Youssef. They waited for our late checkin, they explained to us the city’s history and best spots, they were very prompt with anything we asked. The building itself is very beautiful and very clean, and the room was spacious.

Offering a restaurant and a terrace overlooking the medina, Riad Baba is located in the Medina of Fès. Free Wi-Fi access is available in all areas. Perfect place, perfect people. Everything was good, on time. I highly recommend this place and hope to return soon

We had a lovely stay at Dar Bensouda, a beautifully refurbished traditional riad that perfectly blends authenticity with comfort. The property is an old house thoughtfully transformed into charming accommodation, preserving its architectural heritage while offering a peaceful retreat in the heart of the medina. Our room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist with a smile. Breakfast was decent—simple but satisfying. The small pool in the courtyard added a refreshing touch, especially after exploring the busy streets of Fes. One of the highlights was the rooftop terrace: quite spacious, with stunning views and a serene ambiance that made it ideal for unwinding. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience and would definitely recommend Dar Bensouda to travelers looking for an authentic Moroccan stay with warm hospitality.

It was well located and very comfortable. Excellent breakfast as well. Without hesitation, I would stay again.
