SPECTACULAR hotel in every way! Sparkling water available at registration, beautiful lounge/ restaurant area as soon as you walk in, gorgeous flower arrangements, comfortable, interesting seating and decorations. A popular outdoor area along the Rhine River. Modern , clean room and bathroom with robes and comfortable bed and bedding. Great breakfast ! Great small bites for dinner and a good wine selection . I’m a hiker.. there was a path along the Rhine River right from the hotel to the Wald Park.. a huge forested park! The staff was so welcoming and always answered my request with a “ yes”! This hotel is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in years. And I travel a lot. Hated to leave!

The room was great, BUT instructions for key things, like the AC, were only in German, so not tourist friendly. Similarly, good luck reading the sign at the unmanned reception... also only in German. It said to call a mobile number (a long distance call, generally) it was also an unmanned mailbox. Eventually I figured out to walk in through the restaurant around the corner where I was greeting in, you guessed it, German (and Italian): I speak neither. So, the instructions for getting into the hotel need help, but once it, it was fabulous. I cannot comment on the restaurant, as we ate elsewhere, but it looked busy.

The breakfast good, would have liked vegan options but the staff said if kitchen is given a day's notice they can accommodate. The furniture very tastefully done. Spacious and cozy room.

I stayed only one night with 2 kids, the room was spacious they also allow dogs. The receptionists are very friendly, especially the ladies. They are dog lovers and all was very good. We'll come back.
