Romantic Hotels in Melide

This is the PERFECT location for a quiet stop along the Camino on your way to Santiago de Compostela. It was an exhausting 23 mile day and the excellent staff greeted us with open arms. The food and accommodations were top shelf.

We absolutely loved the cleanliness of the property, the exceptional service, and the high quality of the food. The staff were always available and ready to help us at any time. The location was perfect—peaceful, beautiful, and ideal for resting. It’s a great place for families and truly felt like a haven after a day on the Camino

This was such a treat whilst walking the Camino. Nestled in the Galician countryside, so beautiful. The receptionist was a local , full of interesting information, and suggestions for our days rest. The thermal spa was great and the hot stone massage was the best we’d ever had.

Miguel and Montse were wonderful hosts. Genuinely nice people, with real care for what they do. Casa Blanco is a real gem along the Camino. The location 10 minutes drive from Palas de Rei, where Miguel kindly picked me up. It is a peaceful place with an authentic feel, and plenty of charm. The food was incredible - fitting for a fine dining restaurant. The best meal i've eaten on the Camino - and perhaps the best night's sleep too. Miguel and Montse also thoughtfully checked in on me once I'd left Casa Blanco, aware that I would be continuing the Camino with a slight injury. It showed their kindness. I recommend Casa Blanco highly.

This Pension is on the Camino Frances... important to note if you are walking Camino Del Norte as you will have to detour back out of Arzua down a 2km hill to this site. And retrace your steps the next day. Oops! If you are on the Frances, this is a perfect stop and very comfy Pension. Washing Machine and Dryer available, great bar and restaurant right across the lane. Swimming pool is lovely and spots to relax.
