Although the facility is run for several years it looks completely new. It was very quiet and the only sounds we heard were birds.

The room was very nicely decorated. The common room had coffee/tea supplies and was very cozy. Most of all the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was an absolutely wonderful place to stay.

Accessible room was perfect, walk in shower. incredibly peaceful, perfect location for harbour, whale watching, Northern Lights etc etc. Perfect. Long drive from Keflavik, but worth it. 30 minutes from Godafoss Waterfall. Amazing.

The location was incredible- such a unique stay and one we hope to come back to someday. Incredible access to the ocean, quiet except for the waves. Shared bathrooms were clean and plentiful. Rooms were simple and thoughtfully decorated.

We stayed at this guesthouse the first time in 2016. Since then, the property has expanded quite a bit, with a few more houses built further down the hillside. This time, we stayed here as a group of 7 people and were handed a full house all to ourselves. The facilities and service were outstanding. The staff bent over backwards for all our quirks, including our 10-year old picky eater and an unusual request for a breakfast birthday "cake" for one in our party. This is a great place, great value not far from highlights like Lake Myvatn and the nearby fishing / whale-watching town of Husavik. We will definitely be staying here next time we visit Northern Iceland.
