We loved everything about this property, the owner was very friendly and greeted us with fruit juice upon arrival which was delicious. They have clearly thought of everything to make a guests stay as comfortable as possible. It’s very close to the Ella swing as well as the zip line.

Great view from our balcony, with a nice table to have morning tea. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable. The bed is one of the best we've had in Sri Lanka! The owner is very helpful and knowledgeable about all things Ella, transportation, or any other questions. She helped us figure the right bus to take from Ella to the coast. As an added bonus they dropped us off at the bus station in their Tuk Tuk for free! It's not directly in the center, but only a 5-10 minute walk. It's also quieter because of that.

We loved it here! The family who runs it is exceptional, they made sure we had a wonderful stay. My mom has some mobility issues and they helped us see the most of Ella. Sitting on our patio and looking out at the beautiful view was just what we needed. The food was amazing, I show pictures of the fruit plate to everyone. Wish we could have stayed longer! Janith and his lovely family could not do too much for us. They were wonderful hosts. The location is perfect tranquil and yet only 5 minutes from the busy centre of Ella Our breakfast each morning was exceptional! We looked out onto the mountains.

We had the perfect stay at Lavendra Paradise. The property is a short walk from the lively Ella and the hill is a little steep coming up but easily managed for a young couple. Our room was very comfortable and clean, plenty of space and amenities. The porch area looking on to the mountains was the perfect spot to relax and was perfectly sheltered when there was a downpour of rain so we still got to enjoy being outside. The breakfast was our best in Sri Lanka - Shan's wife cut no corners in preparing a fresh, Sri Lankan breakfast for us each day and when we had a very early check out on our last morning even prepared us a delicious meal to take away with us. Shan and the others couldn't do enough for you throughout the stay and were attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend this place for a stay in Ella!

What an amazing experience, very cozy, clean and relaxing place with an incredible view! The host family is super kind and caring, the breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. The host showed me the best routes to reach different points of interests throughout Ella: shortcut to town, directions for Ella Rock, Nine Arch Bridge, etc, he even has hand drawn maps that were very effective. I'm definitely coming back here if I visit Ella again.
