The guesthouse is not just a regular guesthouse, it is so much more. I couldn´t believe my eyes when I saw my room. It was like out of a fairytale! There is so much work, craft, talent and passion put into this historical place! One of the best stays in my life! Very good quiet and beautiful location, just few steps from the main train station in Larvik and the sea, away from noise, super quiet and pleasant. I loved absolutely everything about Lysko Gjestegård. So happy I found it and booked it for my 2 nights stay. Highly recommend.

The staff was accommodating when we needed an extra chair in the room and when we had questions. In particular, Gunn was most helpful. The facility was clean, and the food was very good.
