This was a stay in a beautiful art deco style villa dated 1907. Once inside the boutique hotel, we entered a warm haven of a gold and brown coloured interior, and were heartily welcomed by the lady at the reception. She offered us a coffee, while she finished cleaning our room, as to allow us an early check-in. The hotel manager helped us with bringing up the luggage to our room. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and with all comfort to feel “home away from home”. The breakfast was very good, with a wide range of homemade goodies. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

I felt that I was arriving to visit friends. Wonderful people. The "Hof" is restored with highly evident professional expetise and care. The room was well appointed, impeccably clean, and very quiet. View on the garden. Breakfast was lovely.

It was fantastic experience. The place is cozy and really nice. Very hospitable staff. Perfect location near Domplatz but in the quiet street at the same time. I do recommend this place for staying.

The Hotel Villa Altenburg is located in an idyllic part of Germany, with beautiful surroundings. The building retains a lot of original features, which gives great ambience. The rooms are charming, the decor is authentic in this beautifully restored villa. Excellent breakfast with many choices and imaginative options. We immediately felt at home after being greeted by the friendly staff.
