Laurence was a wonderful host and the property was very peaceful and absolutely beautiful! Our bedroom was spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was very good and generous. We will most likely return as we would like to discover the beautiful city of Bourges in more detail.

Aubigny-sur-Nere is a very attractive and historic town and La Chaumiere is in the middle of it. We loved the building which is old and beautiful and has been wonderfully restored with every comfort. We booked an evening meal for convenience which turned out to be exceptionally good - really fine dining - but for a fraction of the price you pay in the UK for this quality of food and wine. The service was also great - both friendly and efficient.
