We spent most of our time by the sea, swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Zlatni Rat and enjoying the peace and beauty of the island. We are not new to the Adriatic, but here we truly felt the unique advantages of the island – the climate brings a pleasant coolness even in August, making the stay even more comfortable. Bol is the perfect place to fully enjoy the taste of Adriatic cuisine in local restaurants. With half board, having breakfast and dinner at the hotel and lunch in the charming local eateries turned into a real gastronomic celebration. It was so wonderful that we didn’t want to go back home.

I had read many comments about the food and was expecting to be disappointed, but it wasn’t bad at all. Yes, it is a bit modest, especially snacks, but while you won’t find delicacies, there was a variety, including fish and even stewed calamari one evening.
