We originally planned to stay at Laster Jony’s for one week, but ended up staying two full weeks – and honestly, we could have stayed even longer. This place truly stole our hearts. The owners are the kindest, warmest people, and they even speak a little Finnish, which made us feel instantly at home. The atmosphere is relaxed, peaceful, and full of good vibes. The location is absolutely stunning: you can step straight from your room into the beautiful waters of Lake Toba. Swimming is recommended for ultimate relaxation. Their upstairs restaurant serves amazing, diverse, and delicious food, and we found ourselves eating there almost daily. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and perfect for backpackers, with everything you need for a longer stay. And then there is Kitty, their adorable cat – quite possibly the sweetest cat in the world. She slept next to us at night and joined us for daytime naps, filling the days with extra joy. Please give her lots of love and treats 🐾 Thank you for everything, dear friends. Kiitos kaverit! 💛 We will carry this place in our hearts and hope to return one day.

such a cute and charming guesthouse. the staff were so lovely, helpful and welcoming. Cannot recommend this place enough! the rooms were wonderful and the guesthouse can arrange everything for you - jungle trekking, airport transfer etc. They take such good care of their guests and I enjoyed my stay here so much. :)

The breakfast buffet was a delightful surprise. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented.
