Wonderful stay, run by a very nice family with great staff. Really makes you feel at home, very quiet and relaxing get away in a natural setting. Highly recommend and don't forget to try some day tours! I had a great time on all the tours I tried as well, great drivers and guides. I felt very comfortable as a solo female traveler here and enjoyed the delicious food in the restaurant too. Looking forward to my next stay. :)

This is a great stay - the family is fulfilling any wish and is cooking great (e.g. try chapati guacamole) - feel more than home. There are other accommodations very close by - we felt this one is just marvelous. We got a room on the lowest level where you can directly jump into the lake. The room and bathroom are really large. There is a common area (= also restaurant) about 8 m higher. The street is another 8-10 m higher. But the family will help you to transport your luggage.

With mountain views, Pele's Place is located in Sabang and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, outdoor fireplace and children's playground.

We had the best time at Pele´s place, it has wonderful quiet location still close to restaurants and shops in the village nearby. For flying foxes, bird and monkey watching, we couldn´t have chosen better! :)

Our stay here was lovely! We enjoyed the quite location of this property, the small patio in front of our huge room and the pavillons at the lake front. There were a lot of restaurants in walkable distance and a nearly new scooter for rent.

Junia Guesthouse Bukit Lawang features an open-air bath, free bikes, a garden and bar in Bukit Lawang. The property has garden and inner courtyard views.

We loved our stay at Junia Guesthouse! We went on the 3 day jungle trek and got to see orangutans up close! We stayed one night at the guesthouse before and after our trek. The bungalow was nice, the food great and the staff very friendly. Furthermore Bukit Lawang is a beautiful town located just by the river.1

First time in Lake Toba and hotel is located by the lake and view is superb. The manager Jay has helped us to book the car so that we can comfortably to ferry terminal and the cost for car is very reasonable. He also gave us advice on where to visit during our visit. All the staff are helpful and friendly. Will definitely recommend Toba Village Inn.
