Board and card games available to play. Right on the lake front makes it beautiful and so peaceful. Free kayaks to use and swimming area at the front. A very relaxing stay.

We originally planned to stay at Laster Jony’s for one week, but ended up staying two full weeks – and honestly, we could have stayed even longer. This place truly stole our hearts. The owners are the kindest, warmest people, and they even speak a little Finnish, which made us feel instantly at home. The atmosphere is relaxed, peaceful, and full of good vibes. The location is absolutely stunning: you can step straight from your room into the beautiful waters of Lake Toba. Swimming is recommended for ultimate relaxation. Their upstairs restaurant serves amazing, diverse, and delicious food, and we found ourselves eating there almost daily. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and perfect for backpackers, with everything you need for a longer stay. And then there is Kitty, their adorable cat – quite possibly the sweetest cat in the world. She slept next to us at night and joined us for daytime naps, filling the days with extra joy. Please give her lots of love and treats 🐾 Thank you for everything, dear friends. Kiitos kaverit! 💛 We will carry this place in our hearts and hope to return one day.

The room was very clean, the bed is comfy, the lake view from the balcony was incredible! The host is extremely friendly and always ready to help with anything. They even provide scooters for the rent (cheaper than other places)

Ubicado en Sabang, a pocos pasos de Sumur Tiga Beach, Freddies Santai Sumurtiga tiene hospedaje con un jardín, estacionamiento privado de cortesía, una zona de playa privada y una terraza. Todo. La casa a pie de una playa maravillosa seguramente la mejor playa para hacer snorkel de la isla. La casa es muy nueva con todo tipo de detalles muy bien conservada. Camas un poco duras pero muy incómodas. Maravillosa terraza que da al mar. El personal es increíblemente agradable intentando ayudar en todo lo posible cualquier cosa que necesitábamos allí estaban para solucionarlo tanto ir a comprar por nosotros llamar para ver los horarios del ferry, ayudando con un viaje de pesca etcétera. Personal increíble. Freddy muy majo, le conocen en toda la isla.

Loved the location, garden and restaurant. Our rooms had beautiful views over the river and village. Ideal location for jungle treks which we also organised through Junia. Our guides for the half day trek Nuu and Dika (excuse the spelling!) were so knowledgeable, kids and us loved spotting an orangutan, various monkeys, monitor lizard, geckos and learning about different plants. Totally recommend doing the tubing - so much fun down the rapids! Room wasn’t the cleanest but this is the jungle so we expected that. Totally would stay again and recommend to others.
