Beautiful peaceful location. Great view from the cottage where we stayed. The cottage was very clean, comfortable & well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Enjoyed the selection of DVDs in the evenings. We had a wonderful breakfast at the main house on two mornings. Mary is a wonderful hostess. Also really enjoyed learning about the milking and farm operation. Short drive into town.

The Clanard Court Hotel is situated in Athy, Kildare, just a 10-minute walk from Athy Train Station. It offers spacious rooms with free internet access, a brasserie and free parking. Lovely check-in staff and breakfast staff. Room was exactly as expected, comfy beds. Only minor issue: Shower knob was a little difficult to turn to adjust water.

We booked the 2 bedroom suite which was very comfortable. Lovely having our private sitting room and large bathroom as well as en-suite. Bathroom has a lovely shower. The property was close to Martinstown House where we were attending a wedding.
