Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. Everything! EVERYTHING! The location has been so mindfully designed, people are amazing, the Menü in the restaurant is small, but delicious, the breakfast is truely hand-selected and home-made, the puffins, the hot tubs and saunas … and all of this for a very descent price! If I ever get back to Iceland (I hope I will), I‘ll make sure to plan at least another night here. thanks to the whole the team, we appreciate your effort.

Set in a characteristic wooden house, Við Lónið Guesthouse is an accommodation in Seyðisfjörður. What an amazing stay! Had a waterfront view over the lake. Such a wonderful, quiet and serene town. The room was comfortable and warm, and we had a wonderful view of the aurora. When I come back, I will absolutely be staying here!

Gateway to Askja and the Icelandic Highlands. Laugarfell Accommodation & Hot Springs is located in the Eastern Highlands, at the edge of Vatnajökull National Park, and sits directly on the paved... The staff were so friendly and personable. Very clean facilities. The hot pools were amazing, especially after a long day of hiking. Loved the isolated surroundings as well. Very relaxing and secluded.

These holiday homes all offer a private terrace with barbecue facilities, in addition to a well-equipped kitchenette with free coffee and tea. Egilsstadir town centre is a 8-minute drive away. This is a beautifully designed/decorated place. Although it is on the small side they have done an excellent job of making everything as comfortable as possible. Everything is well thought out and made for a comfortable 1 night stay. Loved the duck lamp!

Set along the Seydisfjordur Fjord, these cottages are less than 3 km from the town of Seydisfjorudur. Each offers impressive panoramic views and a large terrace with an outdoor hot tub and BBQ. Amazing house which in real life is even bigger than at photos. Hosts are very hospitable and attentive. Views are truly wonderful because of its location.

Set in a renovated farmhouse, this guest house is located by Lake Lagarfljót in Eglisstadir village. Chris and Rafael were very helpful and nice! The hotel is charming and has a beautiful view over the lake. Breakfast is a delight!
