The room was big with a sea view balcony and garden patio. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our visit.

Castiglione is 700 metres from Fuorlovado 40 and the Via Camerelle shopping street can be reached in 4 minutes on foot. In Capri you want to stay in a place which is easily accessible. You cannot get better location and value for money than with Fuorlovado 40 which is 5 minutes by foot from cable car and the main square. It is particularly conveniently located if you would like to visit Villa Jovis and Parco Astarita both with breath-taking views (you don’t want to miss that!), Arco Naturale or for Pizzolungo path. Even a tennis club is 5 minutes away as well as the best ice cream on the island at Buonocore. My room was super clean, quiet, and exactly as in pictures, and included refrigerator with water and other beverages that are replenished daily. I would particularly like to thank Antonio (Capri born and bred) who manages Fuorlovado, for his time and patience to explain the best and easiest way to see best of Capri, who genuinely cared that I had a great stay, was happy to book restaurants for me, and always with a smile! The location is very convenient for visit the Island of Capri for the first time, the hotel is situated in Anacapri and to get there is a 10 minutes walk, it looks more like a house than a hotel, but I has everything one need to relax and explore this beautiful Island. The room was the perfect size, we even had a balcony overlooking the pool. breakfast was perfect, we even asked one staff to help us cook eggs and she did very kindly.

Extras include free toiletries and a hairdryer. It was a peaceful and quiet escape from the crowds and noise of Capri Town. It's about 10 min walk from Anacapri, good warm-up walk for the day or after-dinner walk home. Close enough to town to drop in during the day without taking too much time. We rented a scooter on the island, which we were able to park inside the gate. From this property it was a quick zip down to Faro swim area. There is a bus stop close by, so you can beat the crowds to Capri by getting on here ahead of the main stop. The room and bathroom were comfortable and spotless. It was slightly tight, given the size of our luggage ( we had one large suitcase, which we didn't unpack for this 2 night stay), but had a comfortable bed, coffee facilities in the room and a beautiful view! There was a small fridge and safe in the room as well. Breakfast (EU style) was nicely presented and fresh - mostly cold items, and enough to fuel up for the morning with a good cup of coffee and a fantastic view from the terrace. The lovely host was very helpful with tips and available services.
