One Love Hostal Puerto Escondido offers a place with a mixture of rustic and Mexican-style decoration only 150 metres from Zicatela Beach. Absolutely wonderful place to stay on La Punta. Nico’s a great host and the accommodation is lovely — simple, but comfortable. The rooms are clean and set in a quiet and lush private courtyard with a small pool. There’s no hot water (as all the other reviews will attest), but in the heat the showers are nice and refreshing. They’re not exactly cold either. Upon my arrival, Nico quickly marked a couple of good spots on my phone for coffee and food, as well as helped me to navigate using the colectivos to get into town.

Relaxing oasis. Breakfast and staff were next level. We really enjoyed the ambience of the guests and staff, it was wonderful to breakfast with other travelers each morning. The owner Manuela is lovely, she is incredibly thoughtful towards guests ensuring you'll have everything you need for your stay. location is fantastic, if you want to be right in the middle of everything, she also has great advice for taxi' (made our lives 100x easier) and activities. we went on a boat tour to see whales, dolphins and turtles, with the captain she recommended and it was amazing. I would come back again and again, as a lot of the other guests seem to do! if you have a long stay there is also a little kitchen to make things cheaper.

Los Pilares Hotel is located in a charming colonial-style Oaxacan house in the neighborhood of Jalatlaco with a small outdoor pool and free onsite parking. Oaxaca Bus Station is 450 metres away. Beautiful property and hotel. Wonderful location for those interested in Jalatlaco or staying just slightly out of the center. Incredibly kind and helpful staff! Thank you for a wonderful stay! Highly recommend!

The room was spacious and had everything we needed and more. Even though buggies were available, everything was easily accessible and we walked. We spent our time on the wonderful Mexicana beach and again was so clean and looked after, the staff were amazing and a special shout out to Firman the barman who was brilliant. In fact all of the staff made the holiday what it was, if you don't have good staff it can ruin everything - they were all amazing in whatever area they worked in. Buffet was so much better than we thought. Will def recommend and will def come back again.
