The room was so pretty, with the high ceilings and decoration. The staircase in the building is breathtaking. I also liked the little garden in the back, perfect for morning coffee.

Ana's dad was taking care of the fireplace long into the evening to keep us warm, and it was more than enough to feel & sleep comfortably. Her mom took really good care in keeping the place clean, neat and tidy. The bed came with a clean & spotless mattress, and most importantly, it was bed bugs free, which is a rare privilege for camino accommodation. A large supermarket with warm fresh bread is a 3 min walk away. The kitchen comes 100% equipped. The place itself is an amazing sunset spotting site. After reviewing some overly dramatic reviews from precious guests, my stay was nothing but a very positive surprise.

Featuring free WiFi access available throughout, Hotel Fabrica do Chocolate offers rooms in Viana do Castelo, a 6-minute walk from the Lima River. The service and food were so good! The free pass to the museum was fun also! I enjoyed the good chocolate and the free cocktail! The room was very nice and the bed was soft!

The Hotel da Oliveira is within the historical Guimarães city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Guimarães Castle, the city’s most iconic landmark is 150 metres away. Everyone is good. They also offered me breakfast box as i had to leave early for my flight. Really impressive.

Everything was perfect! The Turkish (steam) bath and sauna were amazing (just what we needed after a few days of walking the Camino). The breakfast buffet was amazing (we did not eat dinner). The room was comfortable - they even provide flip flops to wear down to the spa. And we were able to find a pair of shoes for my husband in the shop.

Dating back to the 16th century, Hotel Paço de Vitorino is located a 10-minute drive from Ponte de Lima centre, featuring a Baroque-style garden. Paço de Vitorino is a real gem. Large comfortable rooms, swimming pool with amazing view, pool bar and dinner in the main house. I can go on and on.. We visited as a family with young kids and it was perfect.
